Mon Repos Park is a huge green massif, on the territory of which the most ancient ruins on the island are concentrated. Walking in the shade of centuries-old trees and tropical vines, medieval monasteries, the ruins of Byzantine churches, the ruins of ancient temples open up. In the center stands the Mon Repos Palace - the residence of the Dukes of Edinburgh. It houses a museum. In the museum you can see the furnishings of the palace, portraits and personal belongings of its inhabitants, as well as the most valuable thing that was found as a result of excavations.
