The Temple of St. Panteleimon is located in the western part of the island in the center of the village of Sianna (Siana). It was built in the 14th century from stone. The temple has an unusually luxurious interior: marble columns, a gilded iconostasis, rich decoration, a huge image of Christ on the ceiling. Particles of the relics of St. Panteleimon are kept here, in whose honor the temple was named.

ancient church

Revered by the Greeks, it stands here very clean and it seems that a fresh little church. Very cozy and cute. But when we were there, a bus with wild tourists arrived and it became impossible to stay. We ran away.→
