Savello Park is located on the Aventine Hill, near the Basilica of Santa Sabina. The park is located on the territory of the ancestral fortress of the Savello family and occupies about 7800 square meters. m. The garden was built in 1932 by Raffaele De Vico as a public park. The garden has three entrances, the main gate is in Piazza Pietro D'Illiria. Savello Park is famous for its orange trees and beautiful city panoramas.

Park for romantics

We wandered into Savello Park by accident, walked from the Colosseum to the Vatican, climbed the Aventine Hill and ended up in the park. I like this wonderful feature in Rome - wherever you go, you will always come to some sight, and along the way you can still see a lot of unusual and beautiful things. Savello Park is one of the romantic places in Rome and it is located on the Aventine Hill. It is one of the favorite places of the Roman inhabitants, because there are practically no tourists here.→

Orange orchard and pine trees

Here you can see the remains of a mighty 10th century fortress that belonged to the Savelli family. In the thirties of the last century, an orange garden was laid out, a place of rest for the Romans. There is also an observation deck here.→
