The Elephant Orphanage is a great and interesting place to touch the giants and ride on their thick and powerful skin. You can buy bananas on the spot (100 rupees) and treat the elephant (you can buy in advance BEFORE the trip, many times cheaper and more). The only thing I didn’t like very much is that they can literally take your phone away from you and start taking pictures of you, filming you (supposedly out of kindness of heart), accompanied by a driver and a “photographer”, then they lead you into a thicket away from all tourists and beg for money: " One thousand, two, three, nine thousand give.→
