Fortress Castello

Castello Fortress

Petrovac has the remains of the 16th century Venetian fortress Castello. Now the fortress houses a museum of Roman mosaics, where you can see examples of works dating back to the 3rd century BC. Here, after the Second World War, an obelisk was erected with the names of the dead citizens. A small pier adjoins the fortress.

Viewpoint on Petrovac
It is rare that anyone climbs this attraction more than once, since it is used mainly for a photo shoot of local beauties and oneself loved against their background. Since there are not so many attractions in Petrovac, it is very difficult to bypass the Castello fortress.→

Observation deck with beautiful views
I would say that this is not a fortress, but rather an observation deck with beautiful views. The fact that this fortress is indicated only by a memorial plaque and a cannon. Most of it is occupied by the restaurant. It is interesting to see how local boys dive from it.→
