Sultan Park is located near Chandani Magu Street. Until 1988, this place was the magnificent palace of the Sultan, destroyed during the events of the Second Republic. The Sultan's gardens were turned into a park, and only the surviving wing of the royal residence reminds of the past of these lands. In addition, the park is the only green island in Male.
