The Santa Luzia Lookout is located in the Santiago area on top of the hill where the Church of Santa Luzia is located. From here, you have a beautiful view of the Tagus River, the harbours, the rooftops of the historic district of Alfama and the labyrinth of streets below. Particularly prominent are the domes of the churches of Santa Engracia and Santo Estevan and the towers of the church of San Miguel. The southern wall of the Church of Santa Luzia is decorated with two azulejo panels illustrating the capture of Lisbon by the crusaders and showing a view of Lisbon in the area of Terreiro do Paço square.
