In September 2019, we rested in Kemer for the second year in a row. True, this year in another hotel next door to the previous one. And for the second year in a row they used the services of the travel agency "Ginza Travel". Last year, my son and I visited Antalya with a tour, and this year we also decided to visit Antalya. Once again, our guide was Darkar, already familiar to us. Our trip started from the travel agency office in Kemer. The morning turned out to be cloudy and the guide suggested that we visit the Tunektepe Teleferik cable car at the beginning.

Kaleiç i is rightfully considered the heart of Antalya, this is its historical center. When you get there, you feel different, and the air seems to be different. “Kaleichi” in translation means “inside the fortress”, the name is not accidental, because the ancient part of the city was formed during the Roman Empire and a fortress wall was built along the outskirts to protect the city. The ruins of the wall can be seen to this day.

I really like to visit such places when there are no crowds of tourists and you can enjoy all the beauty and monumentality) usually for such purposes I rent a car and travel on my own. The whole old town of Kaleici lives its own nightlife: a lot of cafes and bars, a lot of young people, very authentic and unforgettable)

I am writing advice for the laziest tourists : ))) and for those who do not want to take an excursion in travel agencies, but feel the oriental flavor of Antalya on their own. From the port in Kemer according to the schedule (I give the current schedule in the photo), a regular boat goes to Antalya. The cost of a one-way trip is 15 lire ($5). There is one caveat - tickets are sold only with a passport. The ticket office (stall) is located at the entrance to the port opposite the entrance to the Moonlight Park.

This spontaneous walk around Kaleiç i "made" our weekend in Turkey unforgettable. Now this is a "must visit" place for all our tourists who are sent to Turkey, Antalya region. We were on an info-tour in May, the program is very rich, 10 hotels a day. The final point of our stay in Turkey in the info-tour was Kemer and we decided to spend our last day in this hospitable and so beloved country not at the hotel. On the highway in Kemer, we boarded a regular bus and quite quickly and cheaply - for 6 lira per person we drove to the central bus station of Antalya.

ANTALYA, OLD TOWN - it's easy to get there, take the bus "Kemer - Antalya" at the stop near the White Tower in the center of Kemer (stop from the side of the White Tower) and drive for about 50 minutes, the trip will cost 3.5 dollars (or 8 lira, which cheaper! ) and go to a large supermarket Migros. From the Migros stop (bus stop from the side of Migras), you need to take a bus to Kaleici-Old Town. The cost of the trip is 2 lira per person. The desired stop is called "Hadrian's Gate", or in Turkish "Adrian Kapisy".

A very atmospheric place, as soon as you pass the Adrianica gate, there are small shops and narrow streets everywhere. In contrast to the noisy and big city of Antalya, it is a must to visit.
