Mtoni Palace is a very colorful place. It is considered one of the oldest in Zanzibar. Now he is going through hard times, but this does not make him less interesting. Some parts of the palace have survived to our time. One fact made a huge impression on me! Now within the walls of the palace, on Tuesdays and Fridays, thematic performances are held (for example, theatrical production of a wedding ceremony) with music, songs, dances and other paraphernalia, they also sell national goodies. All this was done in order to raise funds for the reconstruction of the palace.→
