The Lviv Art Gallery is located in the Galician district of the city near the Vasily Stefanyk Lviv Scientific Library. The two-storey brick building of the gallery was built in 1873 in the Neo-Renaissance style. The gallery itself was founded in 1902. More than 50 thousand exhibits are collected here - works of painting, sculpture, graphics. A special place is occupied by a collection of paintings by masters of the Venetian school and a collection of Austrian art of the Baroque era.
