The monument to Catherine the Great and the founders of Odessa is located on Catherine's Square, opposite the Potemkin Stairs and was erected in memory of Catherine the Great and her associates - de Ribas, de Volan, Potemkin and Zubov . The monument was erected in 1900 by the inhabitants of Odessa as a thank you for the efforts due to which the seaport and the city were founded.

A grandiose monument, which every tourist of this city passes by, but does not always pay attention. Unfortunately, the area around is not pedestrian, which spoils the atmosphere a bit.→
