The geographical center of Europe is located in the Transcarpathian village of Delovoe not far from Rakhiv. And today there are many opinions of scientists regarding the true position of the center of Europe, depending on the initial data and calculation methods. The center in Rakhiv was marked by Hungarian surveyors in 1887, at the same time a sign was installed in the form of a truncated quadrangular pyramid. And on May 27, 1977, a new seven-meter stele was installed.
