The Tri Nguyen Aquarium was built in 1971 by the fisherman Le Can at his own expense. The aquarium is located in the bay, on the island of Bongnguyen, 5 km from Nha Trang. First, a dam was built, which formed a large pond 160 m long and 130 m wide, consisting of 3 parts. In the first part of the pond, predatory fish are grown, in the second part - edible fish, and in the third - decorative aquarium fish. Externally, the building of the aquarium resembles a sunken ship covered with corals in the depths of the sea.
