If you want beautiful photos, climb the lighthouse!
My husband and I went to the Dondra lighthouse in Matara. Very beautiful view at the foot of the lighthouse: palm trees, ocean, rocks, waves. It is interesting to climb up the spiral staircase inside the lighthouse itself.

Very good hotel, friendly staff
I stayed with my husband at the end of July 2015. This was our honeymoon. The hotel was chosen for a long time. At first we wanted to choose the Tangerine Beach Hotel, but we were bribed by the huge beach and the stunning ocean of Koggala.
