Everyone was also scared that it was not the season, rains, etc. In fact, the rains are very brief and provide little relief from the heat. It's even nice to walk barefoot along the ocean in a tropical downpour - I liked it! And there weren't many tourists. The sun and heat were enough for our vacation.
