I'll start from afar: this summer I'm going to Crete for the second time. The vacation is planned to be long (we, honest workers of the North, can afford it sometimes)))). Therefore, inside the vacation, I planned another small trip: to see a little bit of continental Europe. I already have a Heraklion-Brussels ticket in my hands, I plan to take a return ticket to Crete from Amsterdam. Now, actually, questions. What to see this from the very best in Belgium and Holland? I have 4 to 7 days at my disposal. An approximate travel option: Brussels - Bruges - Ghent (possibly) - Antwerp - Rotterdam - The Hague - Amsterdam. Where to stay cheaper (well, I have no desire to stay in a 5 * suite for 6 hours)? What modes of transport are best used for communication between cities? I will be grateful to everyone.
