Mukachevo is located 45 km from Uzhgorod. You can get to it in just an hour (the cost of a bus ticket is 40 UAH). A special place in Mukachevo is occupied by the Palanok castle, which towers over the city.

Spring Uzhgorod greeted us with bright sun and warmth! No wonder they say that the climate in this city, as in Yalta - the second half of March, and air temperature +18. Uzhgorod has a very beautiful historical center, located on the banks of the river Uzh.

In order to diversify our vacation in Transcarpathia, we decided to visit the Slovak town of Kosice. Getting to it is easy and simple from Uzhgorod - buses run from the main bus station almost every half an hour.
