Great beach!
The famous beach is a little more hyped than it actually leaves an impression. The beach itself and the entrance to the sea are small pebbles very pleasant for the feet and there is no sand that sticks everywhere!

Beautiful place with great views.
On the territory, in addition to the remains of the fortress itself, there are small expositions of modern art in the reconstructed buildings. Excellent views from the walls of the fortress to the city and the sea.

Nice place in the old town.
A piece of an ancient wall with a fountain. It will not be easy to find it in the interweaving of streets without a GPS navigator. Not for a water park!
More interesting, probably for families with small children, there are few slides for older children. Entrance fee 8 Euros, no drinks or food can be brought in.

A story about the life of Greece.
The life of the Greeks is shown. Lots of really historic stuff. Well maintained beautiful area. Admission for children under 18 is free in most museums in Crete. Located at the end of Hersonissos when driving from Heraklion along the coast.
