Observation tower on the side of the former GDR, part of the Berlin Wall. Not very tall, standing alone in the middle of the street, unobtrusively reminiscent of the past.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Potsdamerplatz was the central square of Berlin and the busiest European crossroads. Therefore, in 1924 a traffic light (which was invented in New York) was installed here.
