In the spirit of Lenin
Ukraine › Lviv › Monument to Stepan Bandera
The monument was erected recently, in 2007. If we ignore history and look at it as art, then it does not represent anything special. From a distance, it is very reminiscent of Lenin, no matter how blasphemous it may sound.

neogothic
Ukraine › Lviv › Church of St. Elizabeth
The relatively new church (1911) is located on a crowded, bustling and cramped square. Quite far from the center, so it is unlikely to get into your itinerary. But it is convenient to visit if you stomp from the station to the center on foot.

Just like in Harry Potter
Ukraine › Lviv › Lviv railway station
There are not so many stations in the world in which platforms are located inside a covered area. Lviv railway station is one of them. The huge space under the transparent roof creates a special, difficult to convey, but definitely pleasant feeling.

Huge something-there-only-no
Great britain › London › Westfield Stratford City Shopping Center
Go to the Westfield store, which is right next to Stratford Station. This is a huge what-there-only-no mall. Seems to be the biggest shopping experience in London. In it, pay attention to the Primark department, inexpensive, high-quality, successful models.

Anti-glamor clubs in London
Great britain › London › Koko Club
Fabric is considered to be the largest nightclub in London, but we did not get into it. We thought to go on the last day before the morning flight, but we were so tired that we broke off.

Ticket offices of all theaters in one place
Great britain › London › Leicester Square
Leicester Square is home to several box offices where you can buy tickets to any show in London. Ticket offices claim "official half price" (half price), but you can buy tickets on the Internet for the same price - we checked (but where will you print them?

The wheel and/or the museum attached to it?
Great britain › London › Ferris wheel London Eye
There is a museum near the Eye. We decided to go to the museum first, because I personally am more interested in the history of the construction of the wheel, and not the views from it.

Big and handsome Ben
Great britain › London › Big Ben
Until I saw the towers with my own eyes, I did not understand what people admired. It turned out that the clock is on all 4 sides, and the diameter of the dial is about 7 meters!

Central square of the central city
Great britain › London › Trafalgar Square
Those who studied English in Soviet schools know everything about this square. In February, she was not very crowded, not very friendly and not very beautiful. The usual central square of a European city.

oldest, longest, most complicated
Great britain › London › London Underground
The London Underground is the oldest in the world, and its history is a fascinating reading, sometimes reminiscent of a detective, sometimes a historical drama, and sometimes an adventure detective.

Pass fire, water, and copper pipes
Great britain › London › Tate Modern Gallery
The museum is very impressive! And temporary exhibitions, and solid collections of the museum, and the museum building itself (the former power plant). Many works cut the brain, lovers of the classics will be at a loss and annoyed.

Tasty, long, not expensive
Great britain › London › Barbecoa Restaurant
What nice restaurants Jamie has! And the atmosphere, and the service, and the prices are tolerable, and the kitchen - you will lick your fingers. And at the same time, there is no feeling that you will regret all night for that fatty fried shit that you ordered, but, of course, you didn’t think that...

Two wise decisions by London City Hall
Great britain › London › The Shard Building
Imagine yourself in the place of the mayor of London, who has the Sheikh of Qatar at the door with 350 million pounds in one hand and the Shard skyscraper project in the other hand.

Except as a mode of transport
Great britain › London › Emirates Airline Cable Car
Not interesting in itself, except perhaps as a mode of transport. From the cable car you expect beautiful views, but this one passes over the trash cans, you can’t see central London.

Stood, stands and will stand
Great britain › London › Tower Bridge
Although it was built relatively recently, in 1894, it looks like it is 1000 years old. It fits perfectly into the London city landscape and I am sure that it will stand for another 1000 years, because all posterity will think that this is the oldest bridge in the UK.

You have enough life to see it
Great britain › London › Victoria and Albert Museum
Huge museum, many areas of art. Little by little, an hour a day, your life is just enough to inspect it. It will be interesting here for children aged 10-60, who have not yet run out of creativity.

Treat it like another museum
Great britain › London › Harrods department store
Harrods is a shopping mall for Arabs who don't count money. And there are really a lot of Arabs there, with children, strollers, groups of 7 or more. Many floors, large areas, but everything is very expensive.

Unfairly overshadowed
Great britain › London › Millennium Bridge
Passing over the bridge, on one side you see St. Paul's Cathedral, on the other side - Tate Modern, under you the Thames flows. It takes a lot of effort to take your eyes off these three sights that you read about in school English textbooks and see the bridge.

small and expensive
Great britain › London › Design Museum
I strongly DO NOT recommend going here. Unlike the main hefty museums, this one is paid and expensive (I think £.15). The exposition is small, for some reason it is exhibited in cabinets.

All that the British for centuries plundered around the world
Great britain › London › British museum
Everything that the British had plundered all over the world for centuries, they took to the British Museum. They still cannot disassemble and sort the loot - they only managed to shove it through the halls.

Photos, only photos
Great britain › London › St Paul's Cathedral
To be honest, I have no right to rate it, because I have not been inside. We read some articles that draw a parallel with St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, and since we were in Rome quite recently, we decided that there was nothing for us to do inside.

Hot, cheap, colorful food
Great britain › London › Real Food Market
If you are walking around London all February morning, and are going to do it all day, then going to this market for lunch is just what you need. Hot stews, chestnuts, pies, mulled wine - all straight from the fire to your mouth.

Restaurant with history
Ukraine › Dubno › Antique House Restaurant
Everything shows that this restaurant-hotel is owned by a passionate person with a sense of taste in everything from cornices and furniture, to the choice and education of waiters.

School with ideology
Carpathians › Migovo › Ski and snowboard school Kashtan Chernivtsi
There are two ski schools in Migovo, the price of an instructor this February was 160 UAH/hour. There are enough instructors, this winter the load was small. I recommend "Kashtan", this is a school with an ideology, and not just for the sake of money.

Not expensive at all for beginners
Carpathians › Migovo › Ski region Migovo
The compactness of the resort is conducive to rest with children. From any hotel to the center of the resort - 3-5 minutes on foot with a 3-year-old child, collecting all the icicles along the way.
