We stayed at the Kacha hotel in May 2017. The hotel was a pleasant surprise in terms of room cleanliness and service. Cleaned every day and was perfectly clean! The staff are all friendly and always willing to help. Our safe was jammed and the guy at the reception immediately came to fix it. The buffet in the morning is very tasty: a lot of things, for different tastes: you can ask the cook to make eggs, he will immediately fry them in front of you and cereals and juices, fruits, meat, everything was on the buffet! There was no story about evening B. . In the morning to the island! 5 hours by bus + ferry 1 hour + mini. buses to hotels. Our Koh Chang hotel is located 30 minutes from the ferry. The hotel was placed immediately. The voucher indicated Hillside - this is a new building across the road closer to the mountain, but further from the sea. We were settled in the main building, because it is new. the building was not inhabited - they were waiting for an influx by the new year, and now there were few people. They settled on the third floor - the whole floor overlooking the sea, and the entrance is through the balcony from the side of the road, the 2nd floor of the window onto the road and noisy. Standard room with a balcony, king-size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning. The furniture is a bit old, but we have no complaints. We always carry a kettle and a rope with clothespins with us. The water in the shower was non-stop, the room was cleaned every day, but not always in the morning, and a couple of times there were no towels. We put 2 bottles of water daily, for brushing our teeth and washing fruits, we always use boiled water from our kettle - it was never superfluous.

In a word, everything was great. Booked a car to explore the island. I liked the driver Ruslan very much: correct, attentive, competent. This building of the hotel is recommended for living.

Excellent hotel. But order not a bungalow, but a room in the building. Yes, they are a little further from the sea, but there is a new and very good building with excellent repairs. We stayed in a bungalow. And they never regretted it. We had a two story bungalow. We chose the first floor, decided not to bother climbing the stairs to the second floor. There are 50 steps to the sea, along a nice wooden bridge, past unusual flowers and artificial reservoirs with fish and frogs, which in turn delight in the evenings with their measured, calm croaking. The staff is friendly, not intrusive, quickly responds to all wishes (do not try to teach them Russian, respect yourself, switch to English). The hotel has paid internet. You can rent a motorbike, but it's outside the hotel. The room in the bungalow is simply excellent (well, if you don’t find fault and compare with the fives of Turkey). One large double bed and one single bed, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle (and everything you need for a tea and coffee meal - bottled drinking water, tea leaves, coffee, sugar, dishes). The shower is the most unpretentious, but this is enough to be clean. A bunch of white huge towels, and the necessary set for taking a shower. In front of the sea there is a spacious nice pool, a bar, sunbeds, and the sea itself is hot when it is hot. Bliss. Do not pay attention to the low tides, it is even useful to walk a couple of meters. The all-inclusive system is not practiced in Thailand, and it is not needed, with an abundance of eateries for every taste, just walk along the coast. A lot of fresh fruits, ready to eat, peeled, cut, chilled, languishing in ice, waiting for their buyer, just go outside the hotel. There are many different shops outside the hotel, including grocery stores, laundries, pharmacies (very necessary when you get burned, even under an umbrella you can really get a good burn), tour agencies offering excursions, and of course - spa salons, with funny secrets. And most importantly - your vacation is entirely up to you. If you want to have a good rest - you will rest, and if you look for flaws - you will also find it.
