In the evening you can normally eat outside the hotel. Massage is best done outside the hotel, I didn’t really like it at the hotel. Lamai beach is very calm, there are so many people on the beaches of Chaweng that there is nowhere to spit. You can walk to the stones "grandmother and grandfather", you have to take a taxi to the big Buddha. In general, we are satisfied, although not entirely lucky with the weather, there were rains and storms at sea.

(what would happen to a foreigner if he was late in Russia . . I'm afraid to imagine). Well, thank God we are being loaded onto the plane. What struck me was the smell in the cabin . . A light floral aroma... This is the beginning of paradise. I will not talk about their planes. Why poison the soul. On Koh Samui, at the airport, they didn’t know where to look for the hotel driver, it turns out that they are waiting for tourists in a bunch at the very exit. Go boldly forward! you won’t pass your driver, they are all with signs of the hotel or the opposite side! The two of us were put into a minibus and off we went.
Hotel: Located on Lamai Beach. Smiling staff. The room is nothing more. The balcony looked out onto the inside. yard. On the balcony they liked to drink tea in the evenings. It gets dark very early. At five o'clock dusk begins. We traveled around the island several times (both by car and motorized) - this is the best beach!! ! flat bottom. The tides are not felt. The room is clean. There were some shortcomings, but we did not pay attention to it, because the main thing is rest outside the hotel. A clean bed and normal food - that's enough.
Food: buffet breakfast - several hot dishes (chicken, pork) + noodles, potatoes, rice (and where without it). buns, cheeses, sausages, fruits. . . In the early days - we ate a lot! so many! it’s already indecent to tell)) Then - the Siberian famine passed and they already ate like ordinary people - for the most part they leaned on fruits. We had lunch - on the beach, pineapple fruit, mango pomelo, baked corn (50 baht each = 50 rubles). On the beach they took some green coconut to drink - not tasty. Milk with musty taste. Try the baked coconut "grilled coconut"! I like it. And if there is an opportunity to try a freshly picked coconut somewhere on the show decoys, be sure to try it. It's tasty! Dinner: ate both in restaurants and on the street. We had dinner for 100 baht for two (noodles with seafood) and for 3000 baht in a restaurant. So how much you want to spend - spend as much. Go along the main street (when it gets dark) find the place where they cook right on the street. It's probably a private business. Cheap and cheerful. Nobody had any indigestion. (barley mezim and coal - not useful)
Beach: not big. The greedy Germans occupy sunbeds from six in the morning with towels! Although they themselves go to the sea only after 11 hours. In principle, we always had enough space. Nobody lies on the sand.

Although when compared with the same show in Bangkok - on Koh Samui - the performances are better! Also go to the crocodile and queen cobra show! (there on Koh Samui, we were in Bangkok on a similar program . . sucks) Butterfly Park - bullshit too. An ordinary botanical garden where simple cabbages fly. We did not see any special species of butterflies.
We rented a car once. Not knowing English, they found a Russian prospectus, called - and they brought us a car (we had two rights in Russia !! ! oh country !!!! ). And the rest of the time they went by motorcars. Although the guides do not recommend and categorically dissuade - but if you drive carefully, then you can’t think of a better transport. We took a card at the hotel - and go! In the first two days it was scary to ride, because they didn’t know how! and then nothing! have learned. if you order from the hotel, the rental costs 250 baht. and if you go outside - then 150 and 200. + your "gasoline" - a pink liquid, it is sold in ordinary bottles along the roads. Be sure to protect your feet from sunburn. Because constantly walking and riding in shales - then the outer side of the foot - burns in one fell swoop. We took turns burning our legs like that.
