I must say right away that the hotel is ideal for those who do not intend to sit in it around the clock! The rooms are clean, tidy and quite spacious. Towels are changed every day, linen is changed every two days, beach towels are either on request (we did), or just leave them for cleaning and they are changed automatically. We lived with two adults and a child and did not even take an extra bed - firstly, it "eats up" the place, and secondly, the one that we had was enough for four adults for sure. The room has a bathroom (shower, bath), TV, refrigerator, safe, minibar, individual air conditioning - you can set the temperature to 20 degrees and sleep in complete comfort, moreover, the air conditioner is very well located - not above the bed, but in the aisle, so the opportunity to catch a cold and other troubles are excluded - we appreciated it. There is a balcony with two chairs and a table, there is light on the balcony. View of the hotel and a drop of the sea) - by the way, we lived in 133. Who wants to lose weight, a great room - to get there, you need to overcome 4 steep stairs, so if you always forget something in the room, you are the nuance will strain. On the territory there is an adult pool with salt water, one of different depths with fresh water and one paddling pool. At the pools umbrellas, sun loungers - free of charge. The food is very mediocre, we took breakfast directly at the hotel (buffet) - nothing new for 2 weeks - eggs in various forms, fruit salad, fruits, vegetables, cereals, pancakes (more like pancakes), sausages (taste terrible), chicken, pork (probably for those who are especially hungry in the morning), toast, butter, jam, coffee, tea, milk, pineapple and orange juices. Breakfast costs 300 baht per person, children under 5 are free. A couple of times they arranged small holidays with dinner (book a table in advance, for a fee). The hotel area is all in greenery and flowers - it feels like in the jungle.
The nearest beach is Kata, sand, small waves, mostly calm sea, sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee - two sun loungers and one umbrella 200 baht. The beach is clean, but crowded - people from 10 to 15, then free, but in the evening you can’t take a sun lounger - at 17 the beach officially closes, lie on the sand. the only thing I didn't like was a lot of sellers of all sorts of things on the beach (they have everything at least 3 times more expensive! ).
If you are ready to spend 20 minutes walking uphill (! ), Then you can visit Kata Noi Beach - there are few people, there are no traders, clean, small, but the waves are terrible - if you want thrills - you are here! The price for umbrellas and sunbeds is the same.

Entertainment, such as massages, excursions, it is quite possible to take outside the hotel, be sure to bargain, sometimes it helps to halve the price.
Special information for those whose nature does not accept Thai cuisine and who travels with a child - not far from the Kata Beach Resort hotel (there are statues of elephants, it's hard not to notice), go towards Karon and turn right - there is a restaurant with Russian cuisine and a Russian chef "Spicy House" (House of Spice) - go in, you won't regret it. Good dinner for three around 1300 baht, food is yummy.
And one more thing - who is going to shop, you are not here! There are, of course, shops and souvenir shops, but everything is the same, small and expensive.
Nightlife in Patong but we don't know anything about it as there was a four year deterrent.
On excursions - Super Similans, Khao Sok + Chieu Lan Lake (2 days / 1 night) - for those who love wildlife, it's awesome (the road is long, but it's worth it - just for 2 days, it makes no sense for one! )
Would you go there again? Definitely yes. To this hotel? With pleasure.
Have a nice holiday!
