This is not the first time we have traveled to our beloved Thailand. Phuket and Koh Samui are a true paradise on earth. We had over three weeks of vacation and wanted to spend half of our vacation in Karon and the other half in Patong. We were offered this hotel at the last moment, and we, looking at beautiful photos, agreed. But on the third day of rest, after unsuccessful negotiations with the guide and especially with the staff, we just ran away from there, spitting on money - we found an excellent and inexpensive apartment a five-minute walk from the beach, and most importantly, there was a cool shade, normal air conditioning, and at night you could sleep there!
The hotel is located on a mountain, there are no buildings behind it. There is no infrastructure around, and under the windows there is a cock farm, where a many-voiced choir of 6 or 7 roosters does not stop from dusk until dawn. Earplugs don't help. We didn't sleep for 2 nights.
The rooms are beautiful, new, but uncomfortable: there are gaps under the doors, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor. Day and night, terrible heat, air conditioning right above the bed, it hums like a tractor and it is impossible to sleep with it - it blows very cold from it. Things on this damp balcony did not dry at all. Breakfast is modest. Towels must be sought. There are no shelves and hangers in the cabinets and tables, things were in bags and in suitcases.

And finally, the road to the beach. We are frisky and athletic, but these 20-25 minutes in the morning, in the evening, as well as in the afternoon and back, every day - this is 2 hours a day. We took pity on ourselves. In addition, I am a city dweller and tend to mopeds and cars behind my back, because there were no sidewalks on the highway along which you had to walk to the beach.
Are you ready for all this? Then wellcome. But if noisy men live around you, you will also be disturbed by drinking and noise in the corridor. And there is no one in this hotel at night - a harmless and strange-looking person who only understands Thai is sleeping at the reception. He doesn't tidy up. He just sleeps there and that's it.
In short, at least know what kind of "paradise" a beautiful picture lures you into - no sleep, no food, no walk to the sea, to unpack things, or agree on a change of room! Just run away, spitting on the money. which we did. But in Patong we came across a great hotel Barami! Recomend for everybody.
