Also, everyone quickly and amicably went through all the procedures at the airport and sat on the buses. After 45 minutes, we were at the hotel, where we were also quickly settled and here is the first unpleasant surprise - NO RUSSIAN CHANNEL on TV. The room is quite decent, everything is clean and tidy. We were settled in building "A" - AZALIA, it is located right next to the road, so we always walked and no stairs scared us, the view was lateral to the sea, so I recommend ordering this building, all other buildings are on the mountain, we did not envy those who, especially after the beach, stomped uphill on foot, and each time they rejoiced for themselves how lucky we were. The second unpleasant surprise awaited us when we went down to the so-called New Year's dinner. The time was around 23:00. Since the hotel is not located on the plain, and there was no one room on the mountain, all the tables were scattered around the lobby and restaurant. But when we were given a table and we went into the restaurant, it turned out to be empty, both in terms of food and guests. We took something from the food, but everything was cold and it’s already unpleasant to have leftovers for which we paid 10 thousand for two when buying a tour. In general, the hotel is not completely co-ordinated for New Year's Eve dinner. There were some artists, as if from school amateur performances. Generally complete nonsense. It's just that we are in Phuket for the first time and did not know where to go. Now the conclusion is that no dinners at the hotel, only in the center and to your taste. This is where our negative points end. The hotel corresponds to everything that is written about it in the reviews. The territory is beautiful, a lot of greenery in the pool did not swim, we went to the sea, but it is across the road. Sunbeds, umbrellas and a table are always welcome 160 baht for two. There were always places, although we were not early birds, we came somewhere at 12. Many people write about breakfasts that there is little choice - DO NOT BELIEVE. This is written by people who are looking for at least some minuses from the pros. The breakfasts are very varied, if we mean breakfasts, not lunches, etc. I can’t say anything about baby food. There were always enough places in the restaurant. The room was cleaned every day without any tip, you don't even need to throw towels on the floor. still change. In general, if you do not take into account the above two minuses, the hotel is very good. Next time we will go there, but only if there is a Russian channel (it’s a little boring without it, considering that it’s still the New Year holidays). The center is really 15 minutes, not a quick, walking pace, but the hotel itself is quiet. The beach is super (there is no comparison with Pattaya), the sand is white, the sea is clean. They write a lot about the ebb and flow, we personally did not notice them. When the tide was out, it was fun to sit in the sea to cool off and watch the crabs. On the beach there is something like a diner where you can dine quite decently and inexpensively and there is a restaurant KALIM. In general, the location of the hotel and the hotel itself are quite normal, there is no noise in the evenings and at the same time all the fun is nearby. We returned in the morning and did not use any transport. Phuket left better memories than Pattaya.
