Hello! So I visited the country, and which I dreamed of for a very long time. I rested with my sister and with a friend from April 23 to May 5.2011. We flew through the Natalie tour, everything was very organized, starting from the meeting at the airport and ending with picking us up from the hotel and transferring us to the airport in excellent minivans. The Moscow-Phuket flight went without any problems at all, although we ourselves traveled from Kyiv for a long time, but we didn’t feel any discomfort on the plane. Upon arrival, we, as citizens of Ukraine, need to open visas that cost $ 40 and you need to have 1 photo, if not, then you can place for $ 10 will be photographed in terrible quality, so it's better to have it with you.
The road from the airport took about 1.5 hours, at this time the guide told a brief history about Thailand, and then put on an informative film about the country where we were supposed to live for 10 days. Arriving at the hotel, we were accommodated very quickly, despite the fact that there were 30 or even more of us in general. The hotel has a Russian-speaking guide Adele, who helps in solving many issues if they arise. We booked a standard room, but it’s better to book a deluxe room from the very beginning, there the price difference is not big, but the rooms differ a lot, we got a corner and a very large room on the 1st floor overlooking the road and the sea, near the pool with crocodiles. From the hotel on the first day they brought champagne and fruit, a trifle but nice. The plumbing worked perfectly, just old furniture and the first days it smelled a little damp, which is why we wanted to change the room initially, but then we realized that this was a problem for the whole hotel. The room was cleaned perfectly and every day, moreover, towels were changed pretty much both bathrooms and beach towels. The breakfasts were excellent, the scrambled eggs were especially tasty, which was fried by a guy from the Crimea, he always had a queue. So much has been written about the territory and I will say that all this is true, it is huge and very beautiful... In the evenings it was a bit boring, but we found how to entertain ourselves... in hotels in most cases they rest at the age of 25 to infinity, despite the fact that young people liked hotels more than older people, although this is not a youth hotel at all, but for a relaxing holiday.
Karon Beach is a beautiful place with a very unusual fine yellow sand, we always lay near the pools, and already went to the sea to swim, it is literally 10 meters away. The first days there were no waves and the sea was very beautiful in color and very calm... then the waves began, it was cool and very healthy in its own way, especially when you stand knee-deep in water and you are completely covered by a wave and snorted into the sea, the last days are often only a red flag, but ours still swam and jumped on the waves. We were advised to go to Kathu beach, but it didn’t work out in 10 days... although they later regretted it, people used to say there were no waves at all. on the beach they bought their necks with might and main at very affordable prices... We didn’t rent mopeds, but used local tuk-tuks as a means of transportation, from Karon to Patong it’s one way, if it’s 300 baht, we went to Patong a couple of times, to the disco and just take a walk, Patong was not impressed at all . . the beach is dirty, muddy, there are a lot of people and very noisy, so we were happy for the hundredth time with our hotel and Karon. Banana went to the disco - there are a lot of Russians and often Russian music and Hollywood plays, there are a lot of Chinese and the music is not so hot, as for me. We looked at what transvestites are, very beautiful and unrecognizable, and the show with their participation is a must see.

We went for a long time to the left not far from the hotel, I really liked that in any cafe they give ice napkins for lunch, it’s very healthy in the heat, then they started walking to the right of the hotel for the Hilton, though you have to walk about 8 minutes, but it’s worth it, it’s easy to find, there is an alley of cafes and massage parlors, there at the end of the alley on the left side, where the flag of Russia hangs and there is an excellent cafe, with huge portions and pleasant prices, and very tasty fresh shakes, we drank in many places, but there they are the most- the most....
From the excursions, we initially knew that we would go on one island excursion and on Kaoak, ride elephants. In the Indian Ocean near the most beautiful reef, there were a lot of beautiful fish, although I have been to Egypt many times, but there, as it seemed to me, it was more interesting, a huge turtle was swimming nearby. The Simelans themselves are, as I understand it, a la the Maldives, where I am going next time, if of course it works out. Khao Lak was interesting in its own way, it’s something, elephant riding is worth it or rafting on bamboo rafts along the river is very interesting. We were satisfied with all the excursions, but where we didn’t get left for the next trip.
I really liked the massages, this is certainly beyond words, the Thais cope with this perfectly.
As for food, this is generally a separate issue, everything is very tasty, the main thing is to say know-spice, fruits were always eaten and in large quantities, they are not at all like ours, this is heaven and Earth....
In general, we were satisfied with the rest, both with the hotels and the guides, and with the country in general....and I am very pleased that we ended up in Phuket, in Karon and in Thavorn, so eat and relax, the main thing is not to create problems for yourself, and you will be satisfied with the rest. I personally am going to return again to Thailand, to the country of smiles !!! ! After Egypt-Turkey-Tunisia-UAE and Europe, then Thailand is a fairy tale !!! !
