The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay, good furniture, cozy interior, good plumbing. The restaurant was used only for breakfast - varied, tasty, always enough fruit. The location deserves special attention. In Kata, this is the only hotel directly on the beach, the rest are across the road. As far as I know, there are few hotels directly on the beach on other beaches. The beach is municipal, I will not say that it is very carefully cleaned, but not dirty either. I won’t talk about the Andaman Sea, you have to see it! Of course, in August it is not calm, but this does not interfere. You can frolic in the waves all day long, boards and surfs - go for it! Tour – operator Natalie Tour – a bit disappointing. Incorrectly organized transfers on excursions, when it is necessary with your bags, packages (especially if there are stops at different shops and factories as part of the excursion), change from one transport to another, or even leave them somewhere until the arrival of the next minibus. The guide at the Amari Hotel is a different story. We did not understand what was the matter - either she does not understand Russian well, or she simply deceives tourists. There were many bad moments. The annoyances were minor compared to everything else. Thailand is a beautiful country, I will always want to Thailand! But not with TRANSAERO!! ! We flew on a regular flight from Domodedovo, the only positive thing was that there were no delays. That's all. The service is not very good, the food is very scarce and not tasty, on the flight “there” they interrupted the breakfast service due to turbulence, and then they forgot about tea, coffee and other drinks, and then the landing... Entertainment on the plane is completely absent, the audio-video system - the games did not work either on the flight there or on the flight back. The configuration of the aircraft is such that, with a height of 166, I rested my knees on the back of the front seat even when not unfolded. Considering that the flight takes 9 hours, there are no entertainments, the crowding, then the flight will seem very difficult. These are not Thai a / lines, where you can, like in a cinema, get up and walk past a peacefully sleeping neighbor without disturbing him, by the way, Boeings also fly. But even they could watch films in Russian and much more in the entertainment system. I don’t know what year the TRANSAERO Boeing we flew was, but it doesn’t have an individual ventilation system. If it's hot, then nothing will help you, and if it's cold, TRANSAERO has some serious problem with blankets. We barely got them for four. For myself, I concluded - now choose another airline for long-haul flights. We flew to the Dominican Republic with Aeroflot - everything is fine.
