We were at the end of June on a half board basis. Hotel Miramar Hammamet is fully responsible for its 4-ke. If some renovation is carried out, then it may well be 5. Those who write negative reviews do not quite adequately perceive reality. This is so, to put it mildly.
Hotel pros:
- the hotel is located in a beautiful old park, a lot of beautiful and well-groomed plants,
- friendly staff in places even tolerably speaking English, even react to rudeness calmly and with dignity, try to help,
- cleaning is quite normal, towels are changed every other day, bed once a week, they left a dinar - lay for 3 days, they didn’t take it, nothing was missing from things,
- on the territory of 3 pools, 1 indoor in the spa complex, the entrance is consolidated, but the jacuzzi is turned on 2 times a day for an hour approximately,
- the territory is regularly cleaned, the park is looked after,
- there are enough sunbeds on the beach for everyone, but if you come in 2-3 hours, then there may be problems,

- the beach is clean, the sea too,
- at the reception there is a currency exchange, the rate is not lower than in the city in banks,
- the food in the restaurant is varied, a lot of vegetables in different types, sauces, n dinner 3 meat dishes and 1 fish are a must, they prepare national dishes, everything is fresh and tasty, they have never been poisoned by anything,
- there are always free tables, but not always clean, but while you go out for food, everything is cleaned and covered,
- we had a good room, the bed was comfortable, everything worked, there were no special complaints,
- for children there is a children's town with slides and swings,
- animation was present - pilates, aqua gymnastics (hoyat is somewhat monotonous), darts, archery, minigolf, children's disco in the evening, competitions, national evening.
Minuses
- the hotel was built a long time ago, the main thing was changed and repaired, but, of course, 700 frames and doors are not so easy to change, but we personally did not annoy the doors of the 60s sample, doors are like doors,
- there were no hooks in our bathroom at all - well, we managed without them, there was no dryer on the balcony, we also survived, there was no TV remote control, but we didn’t ask - you can watch 1 Russian music channel without a remote control,
- in some places pipes in the bathrooms flow, which causes drips on the walls,
- The water in the toilet descends very loudly, at night it is better not to touch the tank at all,
- there is no safe and refrigerator in the room, rent of safes at the reception - 2 dinars per day. In general, in Tunisia, such a phenomenon as the desire to earn extra money on guests is incomprehensible - safes and sun loungers on the beach for money. The prices are ridiculous, but still somehow incomprehensible.
- at the moment construction work is underway in the area of the large pool - it seems that they are building a 4th pool, a little annoying, but you can survive,

- breakfasts are somewhat monotonous, but if you don’t set yourself the goal of overeating, then everything is fine, although the coffee is terrible and the type of boiled sausage is also (we looked in the markets - there is no normal sausage anywhere, all so nightmarish, we didn’t even take it),
- all sorts of merchants stick on the beach, but the darker you get, the less they pull you, but you should take tea from your grandfather with a samovar,
- the gate to the beach closes after 8, you can get to the sea only through a narrow passage if you turn right just behind the hotel on the street,
- in the evening it is nice to sit in a bar near the reception, but the prices are rather high compared to the cost of drinks in stores, for example.
General
- an interesting location of the hotel - just between the old and the new city - a taxi to the old medina is 2.5-3 dinars, to the new one (Yasmine) - 5 dinars. There is nothing to do in the old one - annoying merchants, few shops, but a good embankment. It is very civilized in Yasmine, beautiful new hotels, shops with fixed prices, Carthageland amusement park. Due to such remoteness, the beach is located on a deserted coast, which is nice. There are 2 fixed price shops to the left down the street from the hotel where you can find a bunch of souvenirs at fair prices. It is also worth buying fruits - cheap and tasty. We went to the Generale market in the old town - there is not much to do there - except perhaps fixed prices for halva and so on. Timburine tincture is good, but in Generale it costs 2 times more than in duty free. Mosquitoes fly in the evening, but there are few of them and the bites are not painful.

In general, I really liked the hotel, there are no complaints about anything, I especially liked the park. Claims only to the tour operator Nord. I would not advise traveling to Tunisia with Nord. In the Kiev office, the manager mixed up the dates and sent us 8 days instead of 11. The difference was returned, but the mood was spoiled for the whole vacation. The guides did not come to the meetings at the hotel on time or did not come at all. A few hours before departure, an obviously incorrect departure time was indicated on the information board, but there was no one to clarify, no one came at the appointed time. I had to call the guides for my money to find out. Later, the reception handed us a note with apologies and compensation for the calls. Well, at least something. We bought a tour from Nord. Departure was scheduled for 7:30 am. We arrived only at 8.30, no one called the hotel did not warn. I had to call myself. It turned out that they mixed up the time for another hotel - they wrote later, and we got it earlier. In general, the Nord company has specific problems with mathematics.
