Hotel with a huge park area! Good kids club and children's animation (Russian speaking staff)! Very wide beach, though it would not hurt to clean it. In terms of nutrition, in principle, there is a choice, 1 time there was Tunisian cuisine and it seems absolutely everything was spicy, but otherwise there are fruits and meat! The rooms are generally decent apart from the doors and windows that should have been repainted a long time ago! The staff is very nice, attentive and the hotel seems very warm and cozy! The special atmosphere of the cinema is emphasized by the fact that you will be the only spectator in it (a maximum of 5 spectators can be gathered for the evening session), films in French and in English with similar subtitles.
2. The second plus of the hotel, service at the bar (3 bars, one of them is open 24 hours a day), the bars have very tasty coffee (brewed) good cocktails (special thanks to the cocktail man), the lobby bar is decorated with black and white shots from the movie Casablanca- humphrey boggart and ingrid bergman are inimitable, there is a hookah (5 dinars - 25 UAH)
3. We managed to get a normal hotel room with a sea view and air conditioning only on the third attempt - after the first room offered to us to my question - where is the sea, the administrator smacked his lips ruefully and shrugged. But I persistently asked him to find us a room where the sea would not only be heard, but also seen. As a result, we were given a room for the newlyweds - a bowl of fruit and a mini-fridge spoke about this. However, our economic administrator very quickly rolled it out of the room, muttering that this miracle of technology is not included in the usual package. There are no complaints about the room - the air conditioner worked, it didn’t drip from the ceiling, like some compatriots, they cleaned it regularly, we left 1 dinar each. They didn't spin camels out of towels.
4. Food, or rather, its absence. The first time I encountered a 4-star hotel, where there is a catastrophic lack of fruit - 1 pear for lunch, and a few slices of melon for dinner, a couple of times there were peaches - with a worm, lying somewhere in the bowels of the miramar refrigerator and died not by their own death. starters - 2 types of cheese, 1 type of purple sausage and dried black olives. Salads - food for domestic pigs - tasteless peppers, hard cucumbers, tortured tomatoes. Garnishes - undercooked potatoes, undercooked potatoes, potatoes stale from breakfast, although it must be fair, once they gave stewed potatoes with garlic butter slices - very worthy. My husband appreciated the small vermicelli in meat sauce with spices.
Dessert - about 12 types of cakes and pastries, different in appearance, but equally cloyingly sweet, creamy-smeary. Dried fruits, baklava were absent by definition. There was ice cream. thermonuclear colors and flavored with hubba-bubba gum, were popular with children.
Meat - there were usually 2 types of it - fried chicken limbs and small fish 1001 bones, you had to stand in line for them, my husband once had a chance to feel the saying on himself - you chase two hares - while he was standing in line for fried potatoes, he ended, then he took the line for pasta, but even here he was unlucky, standing behind pasta, he noticed that the stocks of potatoes were replenished and rushed after her. dried fruits, cheese in company with a bunch of transparent honey grapes, oriental sweets, 2-3 types of meat dishes, warm garnishes with spices, fresh juicy fragrant vegetables cut and lovingly laid out on a plate and decorated with a mint leaf, in the end, the presence of paper napkins - that's it everything I need for gourmet happiness and what I did not find in this hotel in Tunisia.

There are practically no young people (except for the newlyweds who decided to spend their honeymoon, the hotel is very beautiful, the territory, the sea, the beach). Resting mostly French old people. It seems that they are brought here to live in a nursing home! There were cases when grandfather became ill in a restaurant, and more than once, a very unpleasant sight. . . The only plus of the hotel is its large green area! The hotel itself is VERY VERY old! When we arrived in the evening we were shocked! Everything is old, shabby, like a hospital. Changed the number, choosing from 3 (all old with poor repair). There are 4 swimming pools on the territory, 1 children's and 1 indoor, in all but the indoor one there was always cold water, especially in the children's one, icy! There are 3 slides (1 did not work). Animation is weak. FOOD: THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!! ! There is no meat!! ! Just bones and joints! There are few fish - they will scatter it right away! Mostly vegetables, some salads. There was also not enough tea, there were not enough dishes, there were practically no sweets and fruits! Compared to Egypt (we rested 3 times in different 4 * hotels), food is 3! The only thing is good drinks - juices, natural coffee and alcohol (wine, cocktails are really good). In addition to the main restaurant, there are 5 a la carte. )))) only the name))) every day there is a queue to sign up for dinner. But it's not worth it! We went to an Asian restaurant 1 time and did not risk it the next 4. NIGHTMARE! During our vacation, we realized that almost all hotels in Tunisia are very old, 1950-1960. the buildings. Hammamet itself is not very clean (not counting the Yasmine Hammamet promenade). It's super-everything is clean and more or less new hotels. We went on a trip to Carthage. Tunisia itself is a more European country, we liked it more than Egypt (people, staff, etc. ) The sea and sand are just a fairy tale, the sea is like a mirror, turquoise, the sand is like white-white semolina. . . You can walk along the beach, no one kicks you out, the territory of the hotels is not fenced like in Egypt. We walked along the beach on foot to the old town of Hammamet (to the Medina). In general, you can put a tick that you visited Tunisia. But we won't go back there. . Unfortunately the holiday didn't go well. . . The memory left a pleasant impression only from the sea and sand)))

Before Tunisia, we already rested in Egypt and Turkey, so we are a little spoiled, but on the other hand, I have something to compare with. Flying with Tunisian Airlines. Entry documents issued on the plane. Passport control went very quickly. The transfer to the hotel went well: we met and drove without problems, the buses at the Oasis are a bit old, but clean. The weather immediately upset us a little, we knew that it was not hot in Tunisia at that time, but we did not think that it could be colder in Africa than in Ukraine. In the hotel met normally, quickly settled. We, probably because we were with two children, were given a normal room, albeit with a view of the fence, but everyone else was dragged to the 600th rooms, which are located in the basement, though after some scandals, they were exchanged for normal ones. The rooms, of course, are all dead, in principle, like the entire hotel, and immediately the interior decoration of the intentions was done in a blunder.
But there are no fatal complaints about the room, the room has two large closets, the toilet and bathroom are separate (this is a big plus for a family with children), all the shortcomings were eliminated promptly, the air conditioner was not checked, it was cool. There are cockroaches, they are five centimeters there. The territory is large, everything is arranged according to the mind, only the summer terrace and the restaurant were not enough to bring the mind to one level, so they are connected by a crooked bridge. The whole area is very green: huge palm trees, eucalyptus trees and many other beautiful plants and flowers. But all this is abandoned: it is not watered, it is not pruned, glasses, socks and other rubbish are lying in the bushes. The restaurant is quite large, but very reminiscent of a Soviet canteen. The food, of course, does not draw on Ultra Olinkusive, but the chef is a good fellow, it is clear that he is trying, just the budget is small. There was always beef, chicken, often turkey and fish. There were a lot of sweets, there was ice cream three times.
Of the fruits, only oranges, several times there were strawberries and peaches. From drinks: cola, fanta, sprite, yupi. From alcohol: wine and beer (strong drinks only in bars). Wine and coffee are better to drink in the lobby bar, in the dining room they are heavily diluted. Generally ok. The rooms are cleaned a little, the towels are changed, but it all depends on the cleaning lady, ours covered us with flowers for a dinar and changed towels with linen, and for others for a dinar only sheets from past guests, turned inside out, as lucky. The sea is clean, beautiful, like in the Crimea, only a little saltier, the beaches are like on the Sea of Azov exactly to the point. The water was from 16 to 20 degrees. The pools are much warmer. There are four pools: one covered with warm water, one with slides and two more rectangular ones. Water slides are cool, but when we rested, the joints were smeared with some kind of sealant, they were not cleaned and they turned into emery. I forgot: there is also a small children's pool with a slide.
It is impossible to see a Tunisian tense, everything is completely relaxed, either a siesta, or a day off, or simply reluctance (we also need to learn from them). This also applies to staff. Everyone pretends that they are engaged in some great work, the purpose of which has not been revealed to me. In principle, it’s like people are all in place, but you do everything for them yourself: you yourself look for trestle beds, you yourself drag mattresses for him, you wanted to change the towel on the beach, sorry buddy - we work until 15:00, and you can’t hand it over, and every day you drag wet into the room (deposit 10 dinars). From May 7, the weather improved, it became hot, and the hotel was almost completely empty and until the end of the holiday it was occupied by 10 percent. There is advice: they try to call all Slavs Russians, if you are Ukrainian or Belarusian, unequivocally declare your status to them and teach them to your language, Otherwise, the attitude becomes familiar and even mocking.
And so, in general, they are quite normal guys, friendly, not aggressive, many of them studied in Ukraine, many are married to Russians, so you can explain yourself on matters of prime necessity, but it’s unlikely you will find a partner for a deep dialogue, they know our languages very superficially . About the amenities: facing the sea to your right on the beach there is a German bunker converted into a warehouse, then only the beaches, then the Yasmine area, there is nothing to do there at all; from the left, forty minutes walk, there was a market in it, be sure to go or take a taxi for 4 dinars. Be sure to take a walk near the hotel there is a lot of local color. Excursions: be sure to go to the Sahara, just super (do not forget to stock up on dry breakfast in advance, because this hotel does not provide breakfast with you !!! ), all other excursions, in my opinion, are not worth attention.
In general, if compared with the Crimea, it is much cooler here, but for this money it is better to relax in Egypt. I can only recommend Tunisia for a change. I repeat: Sugar is just super. We did not pay attention to all the little things and were satisfied with the rest.

The hotel is magnificent, the staff is friendly, trouble-free, the hotel has its own spa, an indoor pool with a jacuzzi (free of charge 2 times a day), the territory is very beautiful, flowers, 2 outdoor pools, slides for children, its own beach is super, much better than in Hurghada, the food is very diverse, we had something to compare with, and we were pleased to note fresh fruit every day, and French buns, and a variety of meat and ice cream, everything is very worthy. … More ▾ The hotel is magnificent, the staff is friendly, trouble-free, the hotel has its own spa, an indoor pool with a jacuzzi (free of charge 2 times a day), the territory is very beautiful, flowers, 2 outdoor pools, slides for children, its own beach is super, much better than in Hurghada, the food is very diverse, we had something to compare with, and we were pleased to note fresh fruit every day, and French buns, and a variety of meat and ice cream, everything is very worthy. Evening shows seemed funny to us, gives thin. amateur performance of the SSR of the 80s, if you want night discos, clubs, then this is clearly not here, it is better to choose Jasmine Hammamet (this is a new city) or Sousse, Monastir, in old Hammamet, if you go outside the hotel gates, you understand that ended up in the poorest polluting village, but Tunisia is such a small country that we got to nightclubs by taxi (costs a penny - 5 dinars), 5 minutes drive. The rest was excellent, the hotel is very cozy, the sea is gentle, the room is very good: a full bath, a separate toilet, a huge bed, we rested together with my husband, but we had 2 extra beds in the room (maybe they thought that we would have guests ? ), there was a bar counter, a kitchenette: refrigerator, el. stove, kitchen cabinets with dishes (although we didn’t use it except for glasses : -) were cleaned every day without reminders, always flowers in a vase, petals on the bed, perfect cleanliness, the room was on the 1st floor, but with a balcony. We are very pleased, we regretted that we did not take the child, we were afraid that it was still small (3 years old), although the hotel had a lot of Poles, Germans, Danes, etc. with children even younger

About the hotel. There were a total of 800 tourists. Ukrainians - 5%, Russians - 10%, Czechs - 5%, Serbs - 5%, Germans - 25%, French - 50%. The area is very large, beautiful, clean. Check-in tips: if the hotel is overcrowded with tourists (approximately 700 - 800 people) you are out of luck.
They are already settling in rooms where there have been no repairs for a long time (bulbs have burned out, mold on the ceiling is possible, the smell of sewage. Do not think that Slavs are settled in worse rooms and Europeans in better ones - this is not the case.

The same goes for the pools.
There is a lot of food, but there is little pork meat from beef, mostly chicken. Fruit - a lot, every day watermelon, melon, grapes, plums, dates. Delicious donuts are made during the day on the street in the "barbecue", just delicious. You can also choose a restaurant there once a day (4 types of cuisine), so be sure to choose the Brazilian one, we liked it. Drinks - very tasty beer, wine is all dry, cocktails are normal.
Vacationers - 80% French, the staff does not know Russian, animation for the French, the attitude towards Russians is noticeably worse than towards the French, which is annoying.
Cleaning - every day, modestly without lining up swans, etc. Decorated once with flowers.
Archery, simple tennis, tennis, mini-golf - free of charge. 3 slides, pleasant pools without the smell of bleach.
Of course the hotel is more for families with children and older people. But although we are not one of those, we are satisfied with the hotel and the rest, as we actively spent time on excursions (Carthage is mediocre, but you need to see it, quad bikes - I liked it), we went to the fort in Old Medina (5 minutes by taxi there, back on foot on the beach, I highly recommend), in their free time at the hotel they entertained themselves with free games and slides, well, they relaxed on the beach.

I heard a lot of stories from my friends about what a wonderful and beautiful country Tunisia... I will say right away - nothing special.
As for the hotel - it is ancient, the walls are whitewashed with terrible lime, but, in principle, everything is clean and tidy.
We rested with a company of 3 people - 2 guys, 1 girl, for us the boring stuff was terrible. Several times there were attempts to go to a disco in the hotel and everything would be fine, but there were no people there. Until the end of the holiday, they never brought us a TV to the room, although I repeatedly asked for it at the reception, and also told the guide. toilet paper was also given only on the second day, and then they didn’t give it, but they asked for it themselves - our guy took it from the cleaner.
70% of the French rest in the hotel, the rest are Germans, Poles, Russians.
As for the beach - it is clean and well-groomed, but it is impossible to find a sunbed - the French clog places in the evening - or in the morning - and then they may not appear on the beach all day while you are lying on the sand. Tellingly, beach workers are not very interested in this. By the way, we saw them only on the last day (apparently the authorities drove up). It was then that we took one of the sunbeds "occupied" for an indefinite period. The beach worker jumped up to us, made a remark that we took it without asking, and said that in such cases you need to contact him. I explained to him that this was wrong and they should not allow borrowing beds, after which I asked "where can I lie down? " and he promptly left.
The sea is very shallow - you need to go to the depth in order...
ANIMATION is generally a separate conversation. They entertained, or pretended to entertain only the French public, they did not involve ours in any games, it seemed that we were an empty place for them - they never came up. But no, since all the same one drove up - when it was necessary to sell lottery tickets - you see, and already understands the language - we naturally gave her a turn from the gate.
In general, I want to say that I can and will return to Tunisia again, but when I pass over 50 and there will be nothing to do.
Guys, if you are going to hang out, in no case do not choose this hotel. Unfortunately, I did not listen to the reviews at the time.
