I will write a lot, BUT! in fact and in fact)
1. Meeting party Anex Tour. This is melancholy-sadness..... We were brought to the hotel at 8 am, check-in at 14.00... But the meeting with the hotel guide was scheduled for us only the next day at 10.15... Normal, yes ? ! I don’t understand what prevented this guide from meeting us on the day of arrival at 10 am? ! Apparently "crazy" employment at the end of the season... As a result, we settled in the hotel, got acquainted with its rules and mastered the territory on our own. No, but what, we are already adults - we can handle it....The next day, the guide came and began to tell us useless information about what and how we work at the hotel . . “Thank you, we have already figured it out ourselves”... After a couple of days, we needed a guide's consultation. According to her, she will be at our hotel every day from 10 to 11 . . We arrive at 10... Nobody... We are waiting until 10.30... Silence . . We call - deafly... SHIT! We were contacted by Anex Tour… We were told that our prima donna would arrive at 13:00… how lovely!!!! ! Thanks! And for dessert - our departure....A bus arrived WITHOUT a guide, the driver met us, took us to the airport, dropped us off and left!! ! First time we've encountered this! We were just abandoned at the entrance to the airport! Draw your own conclusions....
2. Staff and accommodation. Check-in at 14 o'clock. . . And we are already at the hotel at 8 o'clock. . Of course, I don't want to wait for 6 o'clock. . All rooms are like "busy". . . $ 15 solved the problem not only with the check-in, but also provided an opportunity to choose a room. By the way, all neighboring rooms next to us were empty for 6 days! ))) Regarding the numbers…. In the main building the rooms are standard, but there is WiFi everywhere. Bungalows make it possible to choose larger rooms and their interior, frankly, is cooler than in the building! BUT! In no case do not check into bungalows with numbers 100-120 and 800-820 !!!! ! These bungalows are on the tail of a woman… We walked there, looked and realized that it was impossible to live there. Noise from the back rooms of the restaurant, car parking just 30 meters away, far from the sea, view of the fence and the road. I think that in the high season Russians are settled there. We lived in room 405. The room is large, very beautiful, next to the main pool, close to the sea. Numbers 300-320 and 200-220 are also very good. As for the staff, there are no complaints! Cleaning daily, water and Fanta with Pepsi - updated daily. And most importantly, almost everyone understands Russian at least a little. They teach it very actively, so there are no problems with communication.

3. Food and entertainment. I must say right away that there are no discos and nightclubs in the hotel. So all lovers of active nightlife should consider other hotels)) Animation is as follows: water aerobics in the pool, games (volleyball, darts), evening performances. Russian is also spoken everywhere. We caught a fakir show, an evening of live music (the musicians also sang in Russian, which was very nice). The animators tried very hard to entertain us, although there were not very many people on our arrival. The food is excellent. Breakfast, like everywhere else, is a continental option, however, daily there was a choice of 3-4 fresh fresh juices and a hot coffee pot with natural coffee on each table. Lunch - to choose from - either in the main restaurant or on the beach (there is less choice of dishes, but they cooked on an open fire). I note that the fish, liver and lamb were very tasty on the grill. Dinner at the main restaurant (dress code applies). There were always themed days. For example, there was a day when a very large selection of cheeses was presented. Another time - a great turkey from the chef. The fish day was represented by dorado, tuna in several versions (including tuna carpaccio). There were always mussels, shrimp, fish in batter, beef and lamb. Wines are served in bottles on ice (a new bottle is opened in front of you), beer is also brought in bottles and poured into glasses. We talked with tourists from other hotels - there was not even something like that there... Alcohol, in comparison with Egypt, is not diluted. Only dry wines (white, rose, red), there is vermouth (somewhat similar to Martini, not bad), local vodka . . well... for an amateur... Whiskey and cognac - too, but you can drink... There is a date liqueur - Tibarin and citrus liqueur - Citradin (40 degrees, sweet, but we liked it).
4. Beach, pools, Spa. The beach is large, with sunbeds even in high season there is no problem. Local traders are not particularly intrusive and the territory where sunbeds do not enter is prohibited by the state. The sand is great, soft and clean. The entry into the sea is gentle, to a depth of 100 meters to go. There are algae, they swim, but we observed them once. There are small arrogant fish that strive to make you a peeling of your legs)). The hotel has 2 swimming pools, both large, cleaned in the morning and evening. Without heating. There is an indoor pool, but it is only open during winter. The spa is one of the best in Hammamet, but for those who have been to Turkey in a hammam, nothing special will be offered.
5. Excursions. We were only on one - Carthage - Tunisia (capital) - Sidi Bou Said (the famous blue and white city). Well, I can’t say what impressed me . . It’s good that it didn’t last very long, at 5 we already returned to the hotel. They also offer the Sahara, a crocodile farm, a yacht, fishing, etc. But we were at such events in different countries, so we didn’t go. Cost from 30 dollars. Ours cost 40 for an adult.
6. Shops, purchases. I will make a reservation right away. On the territory of Tunisia EVERYWHERE they pay only with the local currency - the dinar. The hotel is away from the center. But there are no problems to get to the shops. Near the hotel there are always 5-6 taxi cars. It takes 7-10 minutes to drive to the center of Hammamet (New Medina), it costs 5 dinars (2.5 dollars). There are a lot of taxis in the very center, it’s safe to drive even at night, every taxi has a meter, so you won’t be deceived. Back - call your hotel and you will be brought to the place. There is a market in the center (not very big). You can and should bargain there! And there are shops with a fixed price. Compare and choose for yourself. Alcohol is sold only in the General chain of stores and there it is cheaper than in Duty. (We bought Sidratine for $10, but it cost 10 euros at the duty station). Olive oil in the store 4-15 dollars, in duty - 13-20 euros. Yes, more advice! If you leave the hotel early (before breakfast), take care of yourself! Lunch boxes with dry rations are not provided there, even if you go on a long excursion. In the evening you can make yourself sandwiches, for example. At the airport, a hamburger costs 6-8 dollars, beer - 6, cola - 5.

7. Restaurants. There are three a la carte restaurants on site. To be honest, we didn’t go there, because there they fed about the same as in an ordinary restaurant (meaning? ). One A-la (fish) restaurant is generally paid. And the choice there is also (judging by the menu) not ale…
We went to the Bella Marina restaurant (they talked about it in Eagle and Tails Shopping). Located near the hotel. By taxi there 2-3 dinars, they take you back to our hotel for free (an agreement with the hotel). In the restaurant you can eat meat, fish, and lobsters. Of course we ordered fish. Our order (for three): dorado, weighing a little over a kilogram, langoustines, approximately 1300-1500 gr, a bottle of white wine. The check in rubles amounted to 8.000. You can pay in cash and by card. You pay only for the order, and 6-7 types of side dishes are brought free of charge in small portions (small pies, stewed vegetables, rice, french fries, sauces, pastries). We couldn’t gobble up everything, they wrapped us up with us (no problem). Very tasty and compared to our prices - inexpensive! Langoustines in our city cost a “golden jaw” - about 4.000 per kg!
TOTAL. I really liked the hotel both externally and service. Decent five - no question. The work of the meeting party is complete g…… (I’ll write to them on the official website! ) Everything else… well, I don’t know…. . if there is a choice next time – where to go – we probably won’t choose Tunisia anymore… Well, that’s the whole point taste)
