Delays on the flight and arrival at Carthage airport are simply unthinkable! Moreover, I want to note to the ISC tour operator about the unacceptable choice of airline and the chosen airport in relation to hotels in Mahdia! You need to fly to Mahdia only at Monastir airport! So , after the flight and transfer on 2 buses (buses are good with air conditioning), I will move on to a review of the hotel. People, without knowledge of foreign languages, there is nothing to do in it! I spoke German, it was easier for me. The hotel is mostly Germans, Italians, Slovaks and Czechs.
1) The animation is all in foreign languages, the Italian team is super! Fun, easy, great! Favorite of the public is the dwarf Kiko! Halls for performances in the hotel and on the street. From entertainment: tennis, archery, water activities, health treatments. There is animation for children!
2) Restaurant. A la carte horror!
3) Rooms. Even on the bus, after briefing tourists, I warned them about a divorce. As a result, our group in striped swimsuits stood firmly at the reception and changed rooms only on the way! Personally, I had 3 rooms to choose from! The best one was in the gallery with starting at 100. Do not take rooms starting at 2000, these are terrible families, without repair. Everything in the room is at 4, which I liked, there is no bathroom in the gallery, there is a shower, very comfortable, with a stone bench! The TV is old, 1 Russian channel, the fridge is empty, there was a lack of a kettle, take it with you! Tea in the restaurant is only for breakfast, and dessert for lunch and dinner. throw towels on the floor, they will replace it. The safe is paid. They don’t steal. Tips and chocolates must be given to your maid. The air conditioner worked well.
4) Beach. The sand is coffee with milk, small. There are enough sun loungers. The water is clean. The sea is very salty, you need to wash off the salt.
5) The pools are large, with a waterfall, I need to repair the tiles, it is small, 1 * 1 falls off in places. The bar is good by the pool. A good snack bar with a pizzeria opens at 12 o'clock.
6) Excursions. In Carthage far 4 hours one way! We went. We took a taxi 80 dinars to El-Jem on our own, great.
7) Nature. Good! that Tunisia is like an old bachelor: the apartment has everything, but in such chaos! Tunisia (the capital) itself is very beautiful and modern, road junctions are striking in their beauty, houses and skyscrapers made of glass, greenery! like in Arabic. Remember the words for friendship forever: aslama (hello! ), beslama (goodbye), shukran (thank you), and of course our sick Kadesh (how much? ). At these sounds, the local population immediately shouts Arabic and you will well received and well taken care of.

The hotel itself is not bad, you can culturally relax, just don’t be rude and don’t swear with the staff, they are very vindictive! dishes, take in a napkin, if you really need to, take a plate, but return it to the restaurant.
And once again about the transfer - the closest airport to Mahdia is Monastir! Do not settle for others! Good luck.
