The hotel has a beautiful lobby, good rooms. And that's it! The territory is small, little greenery, 1 small pool. Everything is obsolete. The territory clearly needs to be updated. There are no showers on the beach, the toilet is only in the building, so you need to run from the beach right up to the building. The hotel does not correspond to 5 * (we decided that Amir Palace probably received five stars for the friendship of the hotel owner - the sheikh with the president of Tunisia). In the morning there is always a queue for towels, but they are not there, if you want, wait and wait for 15 minutes, and so every day, if you don’t want to wait, go to the beach with yours or buy it and forget about the problem. There are few Russians, mostly Poles and Germans. Felt like in a nursing home, looking for a quiet hotel, but not to that extent.
The food in the morning is very monotonous - boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, and in the evening it's good - both meat and fish and side dishes.
About the sea. There are no jellyfish in September. But the sea is slightly stormy and throws out all sorts of algae that no one is in a hurry to clean up, and because of this it is unrealistic to go into the sea. For this reason, the last 2 days were swimming in the pool.

We decided to take a walk along the shore and look into neighboring hotels to compare Amir Palace 5 * with other hotels. Entering the territory of other hotels from the shore was not difficult. The coast of all hotels is the same, sunbeds, too, the sea, respectively, too. Having entered the territory of IBEROSTAR SAHARA 3 *, we immediately noted that it is cooler here, a beautiful pool, green territory, the complex itself is much newer, the audience is different, both young people and adults, the atmosphere is very pleasant, passing through the central building we got to a shopping street on the territory of the hotel, the bars are huge!! ! plasma. The climax was when we left the hotel lobby to read the name and star rating. We were sure that there were 5 stars, but... it turned out to be 3. The hotel is called IBEROSTAR SAHARA 3 * It was not possible to get into the dinner and the hotel room : ))) Returning to Kyiv, we decided to look at the cost of the tour in IBEROSTAR SAHARA 3 * and it turned out that it was approximately more expensive for $80-100 of our five-star Amir Palace.
I won't go to Tunisia again. It's not worth the money, and there's not much to see there. Palm trees and camels - all exotic. Everything is expensive, the people are poor, but the roads in the tourist area are good and relatively clean in principle (not India : )))). On the plane upon arrival in Kyiv, when the phones turned on and people began to chat perkyly, we heard enthusiastic exclamations of "Oh, how wonderful, wonderful, magnificent, chic, just super... not only we looked with surprise at these enthusiastic holidays...
