Every day began with a battle for food. And I had to fight not only with people, but also with flies. There were always not enough plates, forks, spoons, knives, glasses. And even if everything was, it is not a fact that it was clean. After leaving the building, the strength test began. From day to day they put on the same music, which with every second bothered more and more. After dinner, I wanted to relax in the room, but it has not been cleaned yet. Well, in short
"Terrible on the face, vile inside, greedy savage people live there"

Came back 2 days ago. They wanted to get out on a burning fire somewhere for a few days. There were no tickets from St. Petersburg, no hotels (to meet the budget) either, so they took what they offered. One thing I can say - if for a reasonable price, the hotel is quite normal. It's better than 3 stars. The negatives that were for this week mostly do not relate to the hotel. I tried not to compare with Egypt, as I have been there many times and in hotels of a higher class. Briefly speaking. We arrived at 4 am. The transfer is normal, I was only surprised why the arrival was in Hammamet, and not in Monastir (there is a good airport there). The hotel asked to wait until 8 am (normal, since we had to check in at 2 pm). that is, they gave us a day. the keys were brought to 7. the room was normal, the stone furniture surprised me, but nothing. all plumbing worked. a spacious balcony with a table, two chairs, a clothes dryer. TV and refrigerator for a fee. The guide said that there was no Russian channel, we did not take it. Safe at reception. costs (in my opinion) 2.5 dinars per day (dinar 20 rubles). Unpleasantly surprised breakfast (its scarcity). There is yogurt (delicious), a lot of rolls, jam and other food that we usually don’t eat for breakfast. There are no cheeses at all. But they found a way out - next to the Fola shopping center, they bought cheese there. Lunch and dinner are normal. A couple of meat dishes (lamb, turkey, chicken) plus fish (such as sardines), once it was some kind of huge. every day watermelons are delicious, melons are worse. once there were small apples. Baking is certainly not like in Egypt (in terms of diversity), but very tasty. There are difficulties with water (in the restaurant it was forbidden to pour into bottles), in the bar near the pools it can also end in the evening (as well as soda), but it didn’t bother us (we drank mostly wine - very pleasant). give a dinar - they pour it not from a common bottle, but bring it. I liked their tsedratin liquor (but apparently diluted to 25 degrees). There are several pools on the territory, the maximum depth is 2.2 m. The slides work by the hour. my 11-year-old daughter (after the Albatross Jungle) was not attracted to them at all. But in the neighboring hotel, even though the slides are better, people complained that they got stuck in them and beat painfully. The sea itself is very good, but the minus of this particular area is a large amount of algae. The guys, of course, clean as best they can, but this is such a monkey job that it would probably not hurt to somehow mechanize this process. Beach sand (great). entry into the sea is good, everything is clean. The buoys are chest deep. So the sea is for children. Cons - the absence (though everywhere) of trash cans and ashtrays. People bury gobies in the sand, garbage everywhere. I understand that this is not from a big culture, but half of the vacationers would at least throw out the trash where they need to, there is simply no where to go. Animation is good. The guys work hard from morning to night. Swimming in the pools is allowed until late at night. there are 4 tennis courts (albeit in a wretched form), but the animators do not know how to play at all. So the child dragged the racket in vain. in the evening they play football. We went on an excursion Tunis - Carthage. I liked everything, although compared to Luxor - there is nothing to watch. The water park in Sousse (Palace Water Park) is about nothing at all. not only does it cost 20 dinars per person (and not 8, as it was written on the Internet), there are only 4 slides, which are closed for 4 hours during the day for a siesta. a bunch of Arabs, almost no visitors. we stood there for about 40 minutes. there is an amusement park nearby, but we were advised not to go there, since there is only 1 attraction for our daughter (by age), and the ticket is common for everything. didn't go. I liked the monastery. Nice view from the fortress. Get to Sousse 6 dinar by car, to the Monastery 7 dinar (there go further). So if you go on a budget, then the rest will succeed. They don't speak Russian at the reception. The guide arrives for 1 hour a day. but there were no major problems. There were no jellyfish. The water in the sea is too warm in the evenings, the breeze is fresh, the pools are comfortable. Have a good rest.

We arrived recently and I want to share my impressions: the location is excellent, the hotel, the pool with slides (3) and the sea right away, but it is sometimes dirty, algae and jellyfish bite sometimes. Entertainment: excellent, the animators work well, they know Russian, at least you can "talk"))). Service: the rooms are cleaned every day, toilet paper is issued, toilet soap is one piece for the whole vacation, there is no shampoo, no TV, if the room has access to the sea, then you have to pay extra. … More ▾ We arrived recently and I want to share my impressions: the location is excellent, the hotel, the pool with slides (3) and the sea right away, but it is sometimes dirty, algae and jellyfish bite sometimes. (asked 10 bucks). And now about nutrition: everything is lean, there are very few fruits, a lot of sweets. very little meat, mostly chicken. And on the last day I ate something (the meat was raw, not about stew) and whistled from all holes))))) to St. Petersburg. The last day was very messed up. The weather was not very pleasing, we rested from October 08 to October 19, there were rains and strong thunderstorms, but we managed to warm ourselves up!

My advice is don't go there. The sea is very dirty, algae and some suspension and turbidity. You can swim in the sea either at night - the mud is not visible, or in the morning - until the boats with "bananas" and parachutes have time to stir up the water. However, there are large chlorine pools and 3 water slides. … More ▾ My advice is don't go there. The sea is very dirty, algae and some suspension and turbidity. However, there are large chlorine pools and 3 water slides. No service. Animation is so-so. The food was normal, but the cook rarely got good meat dishes. Watermelons and melons in the hotel are not tasty, but peaches - nothing.
The rooms are reinforced concrete. And on the day of arrival, the room had to wait from 3 am to 9 am, in the lobby, hugging with suitcases.
Saved by a cheerful company of Russian tourists who were also disappointed in Tunisia. I went for the sea, so I was disappointed. I was pleased with the excursion to the Sahara - 1150 km across the country.

I want to share my impressions about the rest in the Palm Inn department. So, I rested in this hotel from 08/05/2007 to 08/16/2007 on the All inclusive system with my sister. So, I rested in this hotel from 08/05/2007 to 08/16/2007 on the All inclusive system with my sister.
Day 1: The flight from Moscow to Monastir went perfectly, there were no delays at the Monastir airport, we quickly passed through passport control, got our luggage and we were sent by bus to the hotel. About the hotel: the hotel is not new, 3-storey.
We arrived at the hotel around 13.30, we were offered to go to dinner, so we went. The restaurant resembled a Soviet canteen, we were shown to our table and asked to sit down. I was horrified - there were no cutlery on the table, wine stains on the tablecloth, we asked the waiter to replace the tablecloth, to which he simply turned it over to the other side with a slight movement of his hand. I got sick immediately and the mood deteriorated completely. After the so-called dinner, we returned to the lobby and the receptionist asked me to come and get the keys to the room. Having received the keys, we followed the porter to our room (as it turned out later that it was not the porter, but the chief of animation Gaston - why he carries the suitcases is not clear). We were taken along some corridors to some catacombs, and when we saw our room, we immediately wanted to go home to Moscow.
The room was adjacent, there were two charming girls in the next room (later we became very friends with them), everything in the room was made of stone: a countertop, a bed; the toilet did not work, there was no balcony as such, there was just an area where there was a table and two chairs. The view from the room was on the wall of the neighboring hotel. We are completely out, together with the girls-neighbors, went to the reception to ask for other rooms. The receptionist kindly listened to us and said that there were no rooms yet and asked to come the next day. Our first day of stay at the hotel ended as follows - we went to the sea, for dinner and for animation.
Day 2: By 13.00 our guide Zuhair (Capital Tour) came to the hotel, he was a very nice person, he listened to all our complaints and solved them very quickly. We were immediately given two double rooms on the 2nd floor. Life began to improve.
The hotel does not speak Russian at all, only “How are you. Good". Each hotel employee considers it his duty to ask you “How are you doing 150 times a day. Well, on the 3rd day of my stay, I was ready to kill anyone who would ask me this question. The hotel staff speaks English, French, German and Arabic. We didn't have any communication problems. more or less know English. Our compatriots who were leaving that day kindly shared information: you need to leave a tip to the waiter (then the tablecloth will be clean and cutlery in place), the cleaning lady (towels will always be in place and cosmetics will not disappear). The tip is 1 dinar. Be sure to take an individual safe, which is located at the reception (the cost is 1.5 dinars per day), why is it individual, because if you take a common safe (for 4 people), then no one guarantees the safety of your valuables (there were cases when money was lost and gold). We had an individual safe - everything was safe (passports, tickets, money). Keep your mobile phone in a safe too. If you leave money in the room in a conspicuous place, the cleaning lady will take it as a tip and take it for herself. The hotel has excellent animation - from 21.00 for children, from 22.00 for adults. Every evening there were some performances - a national evening, a fakirs show, a drag show, a karaoke show, etc. The disco started at 23.00. From 23.00 the All-inclusive system did not work - all drinks are paid.
At the expense of excursions: we went to Suss, Monastir, the White and Blue City, Carthage - interesting, I really wanted to go to the Sahara, but the cost of the tour was about $ 200 per person. There are very few Russians in the hotel, mostly Germans, Poles, Dutch. The only thing that left an unpleasant aftertaste is how some of our compatriots behave. For several days we tried to convince the hotel staff that not all Russian women drink vodka (as soon as they found out that we were from Russia, it immediately started “Ah, Russian drink vodka”), in the end we managed to get Tunisian heads into their heads, that not all Russians drink. But one fine day a lady from Russia arrived and on the very first evening she proved that Russians drink and how, behaved disgustingly, harassed all the animators indiscriminately, in the end she was taken away in an unknown direction, t. to. she couldn't walk on her own.
General information:
the territory of the hotel is very green (many palm trees, shrubs, there are Christmas trees), 3 pools - deep (2-2.5 m), a children's "paddling pool" and a pool with different depths, the only thing is difficult to take sun loungers around the pool, they are always busy, between the pools there is a bar (open from 10.00), during the day there are all sorts of entertainment - aqua aerobics (led by a charming animator), water polo, volleyball, etc.
sea - the sea is warm, but not very clean (algae) and very shallow (you can walk to the buoys), one day it rained heavily, the next day there were a lot of jellyfish (if you got a burn from a jellyfish, rub the burn with a fresh tomato, Pain will be gone in 15 minutes.
I don’t know why, but the impression of the rest is EXCELLENT !! !
