The hotel is old and not renovated. built in the fashion of the 60s. Furniture in the lobby is worn to the limit.
If you, like my wife and I, are used to Europe, even using the example of the Baltic countries, then it’s better for you not to go to Tunisia. Main cons:
1. Tunisia is a dirty country. The natives have their own concept of cleanliness. And in a dirty country, the sea is clean until the wind blows harder and lifts the mud from the bottom. Beaches are generally not cleaned. We got into a storm for 2 days and caused so much silt and debris that it was impossible to enter the sea from the shore. They dug a passage with a shovel.
It is better to keep silent about the streets. To call them dirty is a compliment.

2. Humiliating attitude towards Russians. Unit exceptions. There are many Germans, French, Slovaks, as well as Arabs from neighboring countries. They are treated more respectfully, Russians are not seen point-blank. Just for a tip, and you don't know what they'll mutter at your back. Perhaps it was our compatriots who created such an image of a Russian person. I witnessed how two couples brought vodka to the restaurant for dinner and drank in front of their children aged 5-7 and all the staff. But even such "parents" are not a reason to humiliate everyone else. In hotels, there is no response from the staff to requests. They say "OK" and that's it.
3. Lies everywhere and in everything. They deceive everyone and at every step.
As a rule, the first time they settle only in broken rooms, they don’t want to fix anything. It was the same with us, they put us in a room with technical hatches built into the wall (10 pieces, I’m not lying), everything is broken in the bath, there are curtains of different lengths in the room and hang on 2 hooks. The child did not have a set of towels. Automatics clicked in the hatches all night, did not let us sleep. Three times I asked them to fix it, zero emotions. When on the third day the child had some kind of redness on his hand, I already turned to the representative of the tour operator. She apparently understood from my face that I would defend my rights to the end, talked with them. We were offered another room. While I went to look, the guide fled, although she promised to wait (Marina from Coral Travel). In the second room, everything was broken differently than in the first one: when flushing, the toilet bowl poured water onto the floor, and the TV ruffled.
In the end, without waiting for the repairman here, he again went to the reception. The miracle happened only after 2 hours, they gave a normal number.
Almost everywhere you need to bargain. Prices break sky-high, no quality - China, moreover, cheap. Even in exchangers they can cheat, insert a doll.
4. In general, the country is expensive. Especially food and fruits. They don't know how to cook meat. From shopping - there is nothing to do there. Some souvenirs, leather - low quality, clothes too. European prices for good quality.
From the pros. Clean water, you can even drink from the tap, although it is with bleach. Warm sea. Cheap taxi. Comfortable climate, not as humid as in Turkey. Good zoo in Phrygia.
