We traveled with two 8 year old children. I can’t confirm any of the horrors described below. ))) Yes, the hotel is not new, it would be nice to reconstruct it, but our room was spacious (even considering that there were two extra beds for children), it was cleaned every day, towels were changed every upon request, comfortable mattresses on the beds. Everything in the room worked! Yes, a hair dryer - the administrator is issued on bail (so what? Is this a problem? ).
The food is varied. Breakfast is traditional (eggs, cold cuts, croissants, yoghurts, cereals, milk), lunch and dinner are about the same. There have always been several types of meat and fish, stewed and grilled vegetables, rice, potatoes in different versions. There were always olives, olives, gherkins, capers, all sorts of sauces and salad dressings. There are many different salads, but I just didn’t like them: they were not tasty, it would be better if they just cut the vegetables.
But, actually, although I have no visible complaints about nutrition, by the end of the second week I got fed up with their food. Still, this is not Europe, they cook somehow in their own way and we didn’t really like the food there.

At lunch and dinner, there were local whole wines all the time, unlimited. Good, we liked it.
Alcoholic drinks of local production in the lobby bar of the hotel were also all the time. You can also have tea and coffee there.
Internet in the hotel lobby was all the time.
Very nice animators. Children still dance their dances at home.
Nice clean pools with slides. Swimming pools for children of all ages.
The sea is incomparable. For an adult - too small, long to go into the water. And for those who are with children, it’s great, you don’t need to stand above them, in order for them to go at least up to their chest, thirty meters need to go into the sea. True, there were jellyfish, though not dangerous, but still unpleasant, they stung many.
There were few people on the beach (and in general, in the hotel). The beach was empty, there were plenty of sun loungers and tapchans.
Our room had a view of the airport. It's not that we couldn't hear the planes, but that didn't bother us. But the children have seen enough of the planes. )))
The staff is polite, everyone smiles, greets, especially we did not communicate with them, somehow there was no need. But they speak English poorly, everyone knows French well.
We did not like the cities: mountains of rubbish everywhere and very affectionate merchants. Although in Monastir they visited a very interesting fortress (Ribat - in their language).
