We arrived from vacation on 19.09. 2013. In principle, I liked everything, but, first things first. The territory of the hotel is really huge, the beach is beautiful, and the sea surprised with its cleanliness and warmth. The hotel itself, thirty years ago, could be called chic, but time has done its job.... and now you can see only the reflections of the former splendor. We got a good room, with a view of the sea and an arched ceiling, which only enhanced the African flavor (although it could not have done without an additional $ 5). Restaurant. In principle, the food was good, there was not much variety, but no one was left hungry. The only problem can be called the periodic lack of clean glasses and glasses, which organized small queues for drinks. We were amazed (Russians, Ukrainians and Poles), who collected so much food that it barely fit on plates, and then left half of everything on the tables. My wife and I were in the mood for the worst, so we took these difficulties with enthusiasm. The drinks. I drank only beer and wine, because locally produced spirits were diluted to 7-8%. Room cleaning consisted of sweeping the room, making the bed and taking out the trash. Even the treasured $1 left did not change the situation. The attitude of the staff is friendly, although few of them even speak English - only Arabic and French are in use. Excursions can be interesting, but expensive - $50-100 per person. My wife and I traveled on our own, using municipal transport - an electric train and bus number 52. Yes, and a taxi here is not at all expensive - to Monastir -6 dinars, to Sousse -12 dinars. The hotel is not noisy, the animators are not active. Therefore, I can advise the hotel for people without special requests for a family holiday. For those who were dissatisfied with the rest (and there were many of them), I can advise you to buy tickets to more expensive hotels.
