I read reviews about dirt, flies, scandals with the replacement of numbers before the trip, mentally prepared to meet all this upon arrival. There are four of us: my husband and two children (3 and 9) are with me. While getting from the airport, Enfidha was amazed by the MOUNTAINS of garbage literally everywhere. Everything that was observed from the window of the bus was buried in it. Both on the highway and in the city of Sousse (although they drove along its outskirts, but almost all of their cities look like this, as a further trip around the country showed). Personally, I hate to see these landscapes. But judging by the behavior of the locals, this does not bother them and does not move them. OK.
We arrived at the hotel by 8 pm. As already mentioned in other reviews, we were immediately sent for dinner, settled after. Personally us WITHOUT PROBLEMS. Although with me 3 families swore at the reception about bad rooms. I don't know the real reason. I understand that people may have different requests and different expectations in this regard. Tourists, by the way, came daily, the rooms, presumably, were not idle. The STANDARD room was received in the neighboring building from the administrative building overlooking the pool. Animation there stoker from 10 to 17 quite loudly. But our youngest child did not interfere with sleep during the day. Everything was in order (refrigerator, condo, hair dryer, bathroom, TV), quite spacious. Cleaning every day, as well as change of towels. Cleaning is so-so: the balcony glass door, stained with palms, was not wiped even once, like the sink (strange), the floor became dirty very quickly, there were remnants of some kind of hair (definitely not ours). But we turned a blind eye to all this - we didn’t come here for that, not with an inspection. Linen was changed every 5 days. Shampoo and soap were renewed for us only 2 days before departure. The lady who cleaned was very nice and friendly. For the tips left, she nicely folded towels and our clothes, if left on the beds, decorated with petals.
Meals in the dining room for lovers of spicy cuisine, like our dad. The kids were hard to feed. But tolerable soup and pasta saved, our youngest is very picky about food, she didn’t even want watermelon. I love arranging vegetables in a salad with their sauces. I did not stand in lines, except for pancakes and churros (yum-yum). And there were queues, some more. I tried to take what was available. And ate meat and fish. In this case, I'm not pretentious. But we ate plenty of sweet watermelons. Too bad there weren't many peaches. The audacity of the Arabs, about which they wrote below, did not catch. I was friendly with everyone, both with guests and with the staff, I was reciprocated. Yes, it's dirty in the dining room, yes, a lot of people, but the staff really worked hard. The dishes were quickly removed from the table, and the garbage from the floor was also instantly collected in scoops. Sometimes I had to look for cutlery or glasses or a salt shaker, but it all took less than a minute. I have something to compare the cuisine and interiors with, this hotel loses to the same Bulgaria, Crete and Turkey. But all this did not spoil our general mood. Maybe it's because they haven't gone anywhere for a long time.

Flies are an integral part of the country, because there is a lot of garbage, including food. It was annoying at first, but then you got used to it. Mosquitoes ate children, bought food from them. It helped. Well, at night the balcony was closed, before going to bed, running around the room with a formidable slipper)
The territory is very large. There is a lot of greenery in the part with the bungalow, they were lucky with that. We are miserable and not enough.
The architectural design of the hotel did not at all provide for heavy rains, which we met 5-6 times in 14 days. Huge puddles on the unfortunate tennis courts, like lakes. But this is nonsense compared to the flooding of rooms in bungalows (they have open balconies without a canopy, water overflows into the room) and some rooms in the standard. Ours was opposite the corridor window. From under the frame, water with a decent pressure went to our room (there are no thresholds). a couple of times this happened to us, beach towels saved us. At the reception near the dining room, water was pouring like a waterfall directly from the ventilation. However, the sight of a hurricane / thunderstorm is beautiful))) at night there are a lot of lightning and lightning.
I won’t write much about animation, I didn’t use it.
The sea is warm and clear. the excitement was muddy, but this is understandable, the beach is sandy. Garbage came across, algae constantly. But not critical. The sand is gorgeous, like starch. But, alas, dirty. Jellyfish at the beginning of the holiday bit the children. We returned to the waves towards the end of the holiday. There are waves - no jellyfish - everyone is happy. The pool is really huge, helped out for the most part. The water is salty, which, in my opinion, helped the youngest learn to swim faster and be able to close their eyes when splashes fly from their neighbors. Pretty caustic water.

But what really made our holiday, after which everything described above turned into dust, was a 2-day excursion to the Sahara! That's the experience of a lifetime! The trip is not easy: early rises (departure from the hotel at 6 in the morning on the first day and at 4:15 on the second), long travel by bus (almost around the whole country in a ring). But! It's worth it. Stops in cities and villages, acquaintance with the ancient colliseum, residential caves of local (Berbers), in the evening of the first day of camel riding in the Sahara itself!! ! Indescribable feelings. These animals are so soft, calm, warm and hardy! They do not spit, without muzzles) Meeting the sunset in the sands, in the same place ! ! The beauty! Overnight in an oasis hotel, quite authentic. We already met the dawn of a new day on the largest dried-up salt lake. This flat expanse is boundless. The wind inflates clothes and reduces audibility, you involuntarily raise your arms like wings . . an amazing feeling. Visit to the local zoo with a small reptile show. Then the Atlas Mountains! Then unforgettable jeep rides in the desert, where you can see large-scale mirages with your own eyes. Where incredible stunts with turns are performed on jeeps, it is breathtaking. Then they bring it to the scenery of Star Wars. A lot of impressions and positive emotions. If the children in the family are mobile and you want to see new things, get to know the country more widely, then I highly recommend this tour.
Took a 6 day spa course. The skin is great after it, well-being too, the massages are wonderful. But all this is done, roughly speaking, in the barn. Under the banner of Royal Spa))) The staff is very attentive and smiling.
Despite everything, I have never been upset by anything. I didn't have to fight because of the number and other things. Maybe lucky. They wanted to rest and rest, charged with positive.
To summarise: I do not recommend this hotel. he's just tolerable. This is Africa, this is Tunisia - not advanced civilizations. I won't be coming back here myself. Just don't expect "wow" when going to this place. In general, you can immediately consider hotels in oases in the south of the country and enjoy the color there if the sea is tired)
