Were in Prima Life from June 14 to June 28.2011. Sorry, I'll start in order. Tunisian airlines feed badly, back and forth they gave a bun with pieces of cheese and sausage inside. There are also problems with water - it is there, but you had to go to the stewards for it. The rest of the flight is a normal take-off and landing is soft in normal mode. At the airport, they immediately changed 100 euros to 193 dinars and went to the hotel.
We were settled quickly, the guide Natasha Express-Tur helped fill out all the paperwork. The room got a good number 351 on the third floor (did not pay extra), not far from the elevator (just above the restaurant) + the room seemed to be on the bend of the building and therefore had a trapezoidal shape and was divided into two rooms. So the kids had their own bedroom. View of the pool and the sea. In general, everything is wonderful.
Like many, they left their things, put on swimming trunks and went to the sea. Here, of course, is the first disappointment. On the sea, a small wave tirelessly nailed green algae to the shore. The first 2-3 meters of the entrance to the water is a solid green porridge. If you overcome this barrier, then of course it is much more fun - the sea is relatively clean and warm. At first, the children did not want to swim at all (stepping on sea cucumbers - round balls - is unpleasant), they had to be dragged back and forth, but after four days they did not pay much attention to this. Moreover, in the mornings, periodically, the sea pleased with calmness and cleanliness. I will say right away - the sea from Ssus to Monastir is the same - somewhere better, somewhere worse. Moreover, judging by other reviews, it has always been like this, from May to October since 2007 - I just didn’t read further. A kind uncle cleans up the algae thrown ashore - loads it on a cart and the donkey carries it all to the territory of the neighboring - abandoned hotel. We saw once a jellyfish, lost. I thought someone's swimming trunks were floating. Healthy, purple, but she quickly swam back into the sea.

For that, the sea has two salty pools - for adults and for children. The water in them is cooler and, as it seemed to me, more salty. In general, if you don’t want the sea, jump into the pool. Plus there is a bar.
A week later, we alternated mornings by the sea, afternoons by the pools. Either salty or fresh. Of course, the children liked the fresh one more. My girls, 6 and 9 years old, splashed for hours in the nursery, then in the adult. The youngest, of course, is wearing armlets, because. just learning to swim. There are three slides in the large pool, they are turned on for 2 hours 2 times a day in the morning from 10.00 and in the afternoon from 14.00 (if I'm not mistaken). I’m not a fan - booty at the joints - swept a couple of times, and the children rolled enough. There are sunbeds with mattresses by the pools, but there are no sunbeds by the sea, and they are collected there every evening. So, the sun loungers by the pools are occupied. And it’s not that who comes first in the morning, but put towels on the sunbeds and leave them for the entire stay. We were lucky at first, apparently a large group left and there was a choice. They took a place, left in the evening taking towels, the next day there were no places at all. Three days later we were lucky again and now we left our towels for the night as well - everyone does this. By the way - half of the tourists, if not more, came with their own towels.
There is also a pool - indoors, but we had wonderful weather and we did not swim there. Although it is quite large and saves in bad weather.
About alcohol by the pools: it is served diluted with water (local whiskey, booze, vodka, gin), it is difficult to get drunk, but as people say, if you make friends with the bartender (1-2 dinars a day or something), then the alcohol gets stronger. It is poured from other bottles. I did not bathe, I drank beer, gin and tonic during the day, and in the evening I had my own duty free bar. So whoever likes to sit in a bar, then either you need to negotiate with the bartender, or take it with you. You can buy alcohol in Tunisia, but it is difficult and expensive.

About food: The restaurant has a normal cuisine, lunch and dinner: potatoes, pasta, rice, meat - chicken, turkey, buffalo, fish, salads - different, tomatoes, cucumbers, sauces. Cakes - pastries, pastries. Pizzas are prepared separately, cakes are fried. Beer, wine, cola, sprite, fanta. Often meat is fried directly on the coals. there is always a queue, then it turns out a little undercooked. For breakfast: eggs, muesli, tea, coffee, pastries, side dishes, salads and meat. In general, everything is delicious and always enough, even in moments of mass races. From fruits: cherry plum, peaches, watermelons, melons, apples. Ice cream at lunch, daily. Pizza, pasta, pancakes and donuts by the pools. I was hungry once - when I arrived.
Animation: on top! All well done, all friendly, all with their talents. There were no Russian animators, but knowing a little English you can easily communicate. It's probably a little harder for the kids, but they didn't complain. They themselves went to play at the Mango Club, drew, played, jumped on a trampoline. In general, I don’t know what else they did there, because. I didn't have to control them. Well done children's animators: Baloo, Aladdin, Pinnochio, Marco, Camilla, Evelyn. At all the mini discos the children danced with gusto. Sports animators constantly arranged water aerobics, step aerobics, water polo, volleyball, football - they have it every day according to the schedule. There is tennis, table tennis, badminton, darts, bocha, mini golf. Didn't have to be bored. Wife in aerobics, I'm in volleyball, children with animators on the territory; . Every day there are small entertainment competitions by the pool: an obstacle course, surfing, etc. And in the evening, after a disco for children, club dances and dances with animators, an evening show. For two weeks (maybe it happened to us) the show was not repeated, except for Michael Jackson - but it was worth watching twice. At what the show was staged by the animators themselves. One can only marvel at their performance. We met the manager of the hotel Khasen - a slightly cunning, but adequate man with glasses. We complained to him about the diluted alcohol and in response he poured us real gin and put out a hookah. He made amends, but he was aware.
Because we chose children's holidays, then we almost did not go on excursions. They themselves took a taxi to Ssus (5 dinars there - 7 to Port El Kantaoui and 15 back to the hotel by taxi) and Monastir (8 dinars there and on the luazh 5 back). In Sousse, it seemed that the medina was larger and more souvenirs. And in Monastir (it is more beautiful) we climbed on the discount and swam on the city beach - there is clean water there. We also went to Phrygia Zoo, which is 70 km away. from hotel. We agreed for 70 dinars there, back and three hours there. Entrance tickets 7 adults 4 children and without dilphinarium (20 adults 10 children) I liked it. Ride a camel for a little 3 dinars from the nose. On the way back we were caught by a traffic police officer - he fined us 20 dinars. It turned out that our taxi driver could not travel that far. No more than 20 km from Ssus. They have everything divided there. This is the territory of taxi drivers of their Hammamet; . Mafia. On the way back, we bought dates and figs for ridiculous money. We looked at nature - olive plantations - fenced with cacti. Who wants to look at the ruins - then in Carthage they say interesting. There is something to see. And the guys liked to ride ATVs - they say it is not comparable with Egypt. It is very seasick on a boat, I do not recommend it for those who have seasickness. Of course, we tried almost all beach activities and a banana and a mattress and a parachute. The parachute starts from the shore and sits there, dumbly : ) Once a girl with a child was pulled from the sky by the whole beach, the wind was strong, the girl pulled the wrong strap and hung, the boat failed, stalled and was dragged ashore. As a result, about 30 people (50/50 locals and tourists) jumped on the rope like monkeys, hung and dragged. Pulled out : )
Let me summarize. I liked everything, the sea let us down a bit, but we had a good rest. Wife and children want to go back  We walked around smiling, saying hello to all the locals, maybe not for this reason, but at the end of the holiday, many knew us by name, they also smiled and said hello, which was very nice!! ! Recommended!! !
