The hotel is good, solid, as if made in the USSR. The territory is small, but there are 5 pools - 2 for kids (fresh water and sea water - not heated), 2 for adults (fresh water with water slides and sea water - not heated) and 1 indoor pool - heated sea water. There is a smell of chlorine. Those who are picky won't like it. The room is clean, bed is white, towels are clean. Hairdryer, TV remote control, beach towels can be taken at the reception for a deposit of 10 dinars (about $ 7). There is a currency exchange at the hotel, it makes no sense to look for an exchange in other places - the rate is the same everywhere. In the restaurant, the food is quite varied - meat (pork, beef, chicken, turkey), fish, vegetables, potatoes, pasta, rice from side dishes. Only breakfast is monotonous, always the same set - eggs, cheese, vegetables, sausage, pastries. Fruit - according to the season, we got on watermelons, melons, pears, apples, grapes. The contingent of the hotel is grandmothers and grandfathers over 70, there are few young people. All mostly foreigners - Hungarians, Czechs, Poles, French, Russians and Ukrainians are very few. Which made me happy. Because the principle "drink vodka - roll the earth" for me.
The hotel is located between the cities of Sousse and Monastery, the city bus 52 runs, the fare is about 1 dinar, a minibus or taxi is more expensive. In each of the cities there is a Medina (La Medina) - the old city and the bazaar rolled into one, it makes sense to bargain here, Tunisians love to bargain, and even more they love to talk. Tunisians speak Arabic and French, some speak English and Russian, but this is rare.
I was satisfied with the rest, because I went to relax, sunbathe, find out how it is there, in Africa, and in general the rest was a success. I recommend it for NOT capricious tourists, you will not find chic here.
