I want to note right away that I was lucky with the hotel thanks to the travel agency! they advised me Movenpick, which is in the center of Sousse, but after an hour there was no more information about available rooms! I bought the tour in March. .
we were lucky with all of us, in the end, besides the fact that the hotel is calm, the animation is almost imperceptible, and probably many people don’t need it there, for the first time I see such a small number of tourists at gymnastics, dancing, yoga . .
there is music in the evenings, but almost no dancing!
Once a week, as expected, there was karaoke, but we didn’t sit there for a long time, because mostly Russians gathered . .
And now about some pluses:
The proximity of the hotel to the airport, only 25 minutes drive! by the time you listen to all the introductory information, you will already be in place.
Pegasus, by the way, this time pleased us with his attitude!

Hotel. entrance, hall, reception, everything looks so presentable, immediately in the mood for a comfortable stay.
They settled quickly, as we asked, they gave a higher floor.
The rooms are spacious, everything is fine. They clean better than in Turkey for a $1 tip. But in Tunisia, the mini-bar is empty, the refrigerator just works, and they don’t bring water to the rooms, you have to take it yourself in the lobby bar every time. In the evenings, there is live music in the lobby and waiters from the lobby bar will immediately come to ask you what to bring you a drink.
The beach is small, the sea was not very clean near the coast, well, maybe we were so lucky with that period. I sailed further to the buoys, and this is how I solved this problem) there were no jellyfish back in June, and algae are typical there.
also very much in the theme of the pool with sea water and jacuzzi! I also liked that you can relax in the shade on sun loungers on the lawn under palm trees, there are fewer people and the Internet is still pulling, but by the sea, no longer)
By the way, there were always free sunbeds even after 8 in the morning . .
Restaurant. The food is simply amazing! differs with fresh juices in the morning, a huge variety of seafood and a large selection of meat. and their dates and figs, I have never eaten such a taste! we have been to the Rixos, but here the menu was much better, as was the service at the hotel, in principle! like everywhere else, waiters have a different attitude towards Europeans, of which there are many, but a tip can change everything, but at first they try very well, believe me!
Public. There are few babies, there are more Europeans than Russians, I also asked for this when choosing a tour)
The hotel has great spa treatments at competitive prices, you should not go, as you will be offered to the spa in the city. .
The Internet is not at "5", but in Tunisia this is not very good at all.

A few words about the country itself. Taxi is inexpensive there, ask the guides for the price of the issue and immediately tell the drivers your price. And do not be afraid of the police with machine guns around the city, we, two girls, went to the port several times in the evening and to the city center to see their Medina. next to the fortress there is a shopping center, on the 4th floor of which they prepare excellent coffee in the east with a beautiful view of the city, the port!
Souvenirs. The hotel has a souvenir shop where prices for many goods are lower than the advertised Ali Baba, which is within walking distance from the hotel. In Ali Baba we found the cheapest dates, that's for sure.
Local Arabs are more cultured and calmer than, say, in Egypt, and the sellers are not as intrusive as in Turkey. They trade well, the people are friendly, the country is poor.
The best port restaurant is La Medeterian, but after having lobsters, crabs, tuna, squid, king prawns, mussels in the hotel restaurant, we didn’t eat anything there, and the coffee turned out to be ordinary . .
The climate, after the Turkish one, we liked more, the heat is more easily tolerated there, and the level of rest turned out to be much higher than both Turkish and Egyptian ones.
Everyone advises to go on a two-day excursion in the Sahara, but we went for a week only, and +48 did not attract us already)
I wish you all good weather on vacation and not be disappointed with the choice of the hotel!
