We went to the hotel Marhaba Royal Salem 4, in Sousse from 07/11/2009 for 14 days.
We arrived at the hotel at about 3.00 am, in connection with which we had to sit at the reception until 9.00 - 10.00 am and wait for us to be settled. At first it was boring, but when the sun rose, we went to relax and sunbathe on the beach. At about 10.00 we were settled, before that we were fed breakfast, although officially the rest began at 12.00. The room was good, although the sea was almost invisible from the balcony, but it's not scary, beautiful palm trees grew by the window))). After checking in, they began to fully relax... ))) On the first day, they bought in all the pools of the hotel, since there are many and different ones: indoor, open, small, large, salty, fresh, generally cool, especially in salty, there are slides)) ), as well as a jacuzzi) At sea, out of ignorance, at first they sunbathed on the sand, on towels, since there weren’t enough sunbeds, later they got up at 6.00 o’clock and occupied sunbeds with mattresses, but this didn’t really bother us, unless of course at night the club did not go))).
I also really liked the territory of the hotel: a very green tidy park (there is no greenery, I liked palm trees) with paths leading to where you need to))). The sea was dirty, a lot of algae, which were rarely removed, various garbage, bags, watermelon peels floated by, I think this is from ships. Sometimes there was a smell of hydrocarbons.

There were enough bars and restaurants, you could eat and drink everywhere, the food was delicious, varied, for slaughter in general... there were also fruits (apples, plums, peaches, watermelon, melons). It was also good ice cream, with different flavors and sweets. I really liked the bar on the beach, you drink something, or you eat and look at the beach and the sea (beauty!!! ).
As for everyday life, the room was always tidy, the beds were made (thanks to the cleaning lady), she cleaned very well, changed bedding and towels every day regularly, even made different figures from bedspreads and towels, and once even wove flowers into the bedspread). San. Appliances always worked, cold and hot water, air conditioning. Left the cleaning lady 1.5 dinars, about a day later.
I didn’t really like the animation, there was practically nothing during the day (only water aerobics in the pools and on the beach), in the evening from 9.00 some kind of performance began, until 11.00 and that’s all, but this is also an insignificant minus in my opinion.
There are also a lot of guys working on the beach who offer to fly on a parachute, ride a jet ski, banana, cheesecake, catamaran. We rode everything, after which they fell behind)))) (and so they terrorized every day). But I liked everything, especially the jet ski and cheesecake (an extreme thing). For two, they paid 80 dinars for all this, they say you can bargain cheaper. We also sailed on a pirate ship, in principle I liked it, but there were waves and it was pretty sick, and on the upper deck you could just fry from the sun, by that time I was already charred, so I sat on the lower deck (after a while we were fed, there was a brazier on the ship, where they fried fish and meat with us, there was also salad and fruit. After all this, we anchored and it was possible to dive from the ship or go fishing for 20-30 minutes. Dive dived, caught nothing))) I doubt that someone, anything, ever caught realties))) d why they sailed ashore and took them to the hotel, they had time for lunch)))

We went to the Medina (old city) in the afternoon, it was very hot, everything was beautiful, in terms of architecture, but I didn’t like the merchants in the shops (I don’t like bargaining), then I didn’t even ask what it cost, otherwise you get stuck for 20 minutes) )) But still bought some souvenirs. (easier to buy in stores, some where even cheaper). And so, in general, we had a great walk, we rode back on a train, it’s cool, it costs 2 dinars per person. We also went to the port of Contaue, (we took a taxi for 3 dinars), it’s also beautiful, in the shops the same garbage as in the Medina (i. e. , annoying sellers). I almost bought a gold bracelet, but they say it’s not gold, but some kind of alloy, and it didn’t look like gold in color, and who will throw off for real gold from 160 dinars to 40 dinars)))), in the end I didn’t buy .
The hotel also has a sauna, a steam room, a gym with good exercise equipment (massage and peeling are paid, and everything else is free, according to the card).
PS: in general, we had a great trip, we had a good rest both in body and soul), maybe we'll go there one more time.
PS: I advise you to stock up on sunscreen and burns)))....burned out)))
PS: do not change money at the reception, they are deceiving, especially a Russian-speaking woman, change it nearby at the exchanger.
