In July 2009, we rested at the Alara park hotel in Alanya. It doesn't smell like 5 stars, solid 3 stars! The beach is practically non-existent, never cleaned, every day oil stains washed up on the shore, there weren’t enough sunbeds, I had to borrow at 7 in the morning, besides, with their all-inclusive, towels and mattresses for sunbeds are paid! The safe in the room is also paid and bolted to the floor, so you had to crawl to it on all fours! The rooms are shabby, there is no shampoo and shower gel, liquid soap is poured!
The territory is very, very small, so all the noise from the disco and animation is in your room!! ! And around the clock! Food: disgustingly monotonous, on the fourth day they stopped going to dinner. Forget seafood! They really fry frozen fish sticks in black burnt oil every other day !! ! And so cabbage-tomatoes-cabbage! The attitude of the staff is extremely boorish: first they serve their Turks, then someone who accidentally got here German, only then you! If you speak Russian, they answer in Russian; if you speak English, they answer in broken Russian and in which case they don’t understand anything. You speak German - they quickly and clearly do or give you what you require (checked) !!!
One day we decided to sunbathe by the pool - VERY SORRY: at 11 am the gardener, spraying bushes and trees with chemicals, sprayed at the same time the vacationers, including us.

At 17.00 we decided to swim in the sea: we came out of the sea in fuel oil, and when we went to the pool, we did not find our towels, and the beach bag was just lying on the ground AND EVERYBODY WAS SO! Complained to the top manager, and he just smirked and explained that this is all for us, for the guests, because. In the evening there will be dinner by the pool. As a result: dinner was delayed for a long time, people were herded to the pool like a flock of sheep, everyone was sweating, most spat, did not wait for their meat on the grill, ate cabbage and went to hang out in the city (if wastelands with half-shabby buildings can be called a city).
We brought roach with us, the waiter forbade drinking beer with roach, explaining!! ! - that after the roach the glasses smell bad, and they simply rinse them with cold water !! ! Although almost the whole day near the bars, they serve disgusting burgers with onions and wadded potatoes, and this, of course, does not smell in the glasses! In general, they have a paragraph with washing dishes! They really stick to the plates. To all this, add that there were at least three children per adult (always screaming, running, crying), 50% of the vacationers themselves are Turks, besides, a park adjoins the hotel beach with local residents forever standing there, constantly frying barbecue and swimming in hotel beach, leaving their children's diapers, bottles and generally a bunch of dirt...
P. s. The last time they rested in Turkey was 4 years ago, before they went only to Antalya, to the chic Tekirova district. Alanya sucks! Turkey as a whole has become much worse, the last four years have rested: Greece, Spain, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Italy, so there is something to compare with. Friends, choose better countries!
