We rested in Antique from June 12 to June 26.2012 with my husband and two-year-old son. I would like to share the shortcomings of the hotel - in the hope that the hotel administration will take note of this. Arriving in Turkey at 4:30 in the morning, we were placed in a large Tez tour bus. Our hotel was one of the last, arrived at it at 7 o'clock in the morning. Turks like. Having filled out the map, the tourist was told to wait, after which an hour later a Russian-speaking young man approached us and said that there were no places in the hotel at the moment, but you could settle for two days in the nearby Lioness 4 * hotel, compensating for this in the future with free mattresses on the beach . We firmly refused, saying that we could have come to other 4 * hotels such as Arabella for $ 1000 cheaper, although we immediately added that we would love to go to Lonicera - we rested there in 2009 and basically liked everything.
And as for free mattresses, this is generally a laugh, and this is with a small child with an early reservation, when places should be reserved, in general, an understanding that we did not find with a small child. He told us then: wait. Having approached our guide from the Tez tour at the hotel to Sergey, he (Sergey) intervened in the situation and, in principle, by 11 o'clock in the morning the problem was solved.

They settled us in room 114 above the restaurant, asking for a room in the Garden, we were told you had a hotel booked. The room itself is nice spacious, the windows overlooked the garden, but there was an air conditioning system directly below us, there was a rumble, it would have been impossible to sleep with an open balcony. They did not change the room, there was no longer any desire to approach the reception, they slept with the balcony door closed. The room was cleaned every day, towels were also changed every day, there are no complaints about cleaning, well done. Left a couple of times chocolates and tips.
Regarding food: we rested in Turkey for the 4th time in hotels higher in star rating, so deliciously cooked nowhere. Yes, the meat is mostly turkey, chicken, there was lamb, but cooked with soul is very tasty. Breakfast from 7 to 9, lunch from 12, then dinner from 19 hours. In between, as already mentioned, there was nothing to eat. At the beach bar in the afternoon, a woman bakes guzleme, but there was always a huge line behind them. A couple of times we only managed to taste the cakes. Also at 16 o'clock they put out plates with pieces of cake and two types of cookies, this turns out to be an afternoon snack. So if you are traveling with small children, take something with you. We made do with instant cereals, and for dessert, a slice of cake at the beach bar. Ice cream is paid, although 4 is not cheap, ice cream could be free. Also, if you want to drink something during the day from drinks (cold beer) Cola, Sprite is also only at the beach bar.
The beach, as already written more than once, is very good, in principle, we chose the hotel with a good beach. As for sun loungers, you can always find a free one, but not in the front row. At 7 o'clock in the morning, a young man in charge of the beach walks around laying out paid mattresses in the first row for the Germans. In the first row by the sea, there are almost exclusively Germans (Fritz, as the husband said) who do not swim in the sea at all and watch with contempt at us, especially those with children. The service staff on the beach and in the restaurant, of course, wants to serve the Germans first of all, as in general in all hotels. I read somewhere that they say the Germans give tips, so there is more respect for them. I disagree with this, quite the opposite.
The Germans don’t really like to give money, they are very tight-fisted, they think that if they paid, then they should be served in full, and if this is not the case, they will not be patiently silent, like we Russians, turning a blind eye to everything. Personally, this factor did not bother us, if the waiter did not approach us, it was not difficult for us to get up and take what we needed, and also on the beach you can lie down in the second row on a sun lounger, and not lie in the first row, while not going into sea. I just can’t understand one thing: why would the Germans go to a place where many Russians with children would go exclusively to German hotels, since they hate us so much and would smile falsely at each other.

Conclusion: the hotel itself is not bad, what we wanted, we got. It’s good with small kids, but with older kids, I think it will be boring, because entertainment is at a minimum. There is no playground at all.
Rest in the hotel is also suitable for those who do not like noisy hotels with animation. I think the value for money is a little high.
