At a certain moment, we had an idea to celebrate a birthday in Turkey… It was decided and done. For a month and a half, vouchers to an attractive (judging by the catalogs and official website) Gold Safran hotel were purchased. (By the way, this is the first and last time when we buy tickets in advance - henceforth - only burning ones! ).
We flew to Antalya very well, despite the early negative impressions, the Windrose airline showed its best side - everything was at a good level.
In the transfer bus, it turned out that they would take us to Alanya ...through Side! As a result, the road instead of the usual 2 took 5 hours.
Finally, Alanya ...We were brought to the hotel. At first glance, it is clear that the hotel does not pull on 4 stars, but 2+ would be a completely justified category. The line… well, in my opinion, talking about lines in relation to such an arrangement of hotels is inappropriate. You won’t say “Khreshchatyk is located on line 258 from the Dnieper”?  Same here.

Moreover, the most annoying thing is that the sea, in fact, is not far away - 250 meters, but, unfortunately, it is not visible from the hotel (2 rooms on the 4th and 5th floors are an exception). The hotel area is not very large and is completely occupied by the hotel building and the pool - there is no other area as such.
The first room that we were offered overlooked the pool - pop music and frolicking children yelled merrily through the window. Dont need it, thanks.
The second number was worse. A crack in the wall evoked thoughts of earthquakes, a fungus in the bathroom and cracked glass in the shower. booth - about military conflicts with the Kurds and other joys of life. But the furniture will delight lovers of Soviet life. There was a school under the windows, which in itself is not as bad as the prayers broadcasting from it through the loudspeaker (3 times a day, VERY loud).
As a matter of fact, this exchange of numbers ended. We were told that there were no more rooms available (although this was a lie! ).
We got another room (suite) only with the involvement of the Odeon Tours guide, but I can’t say that it was better than the previous 2 - the window overlooked the street, exactly opposite the cute cafe “Natalie” with live music (up to 1 nights).
About Coral Travel / Odeon Tours.
Our natural reaction was to file a claim with the travel agent and tour operator. Subsequently, a few days later, a representative of Odeon Tours for the Antalya region came to us and threatened that if we did not sign a waiver now, we would be moved to the most foul room of this hotel. And if we sign, we will get (oh, my God! ) - free massage and fruit in the room! We really received both, but on the very last evening before departure, and after, probably, the 20th reminder at the reception.
Subsequently, we had to communicate with this “nice” person again - when we had a conflict with one of the seller (refusal to return the deposit), we decided to contact the tourist police on the advice. Alexander listened to us and extremely rudely said that these were our personal problems, they could not provide an interpreter, he did not know the police number, nor did he know the phone number of the consulate and could not help in any way. Then he hung up.

This was our next experience of cooperation with Coral Travel / Odeon Tours.
For hotel service.
Despite our good attitude towards the Turks in general, I have to admit that the hotel staff leaves much to be desired, much, much better (not counting the restaurant - there are no complaints about the waiters). Receptionist - rude and useless clerks. The bartender is a dumb ass.
Room cleaning is limited to making beds and checking suitcases.
Before departure, 3 pairs of Tomas Sabo earrings were missing, and this is the first time for us that something was missing in the hotel. I change towels once a week.
The kitchen is a separate story. On the first day, we even liked it (I think - ~ 5 hours on the road without food), but every day the food got worse and worse - it seemed that for 6 days we ate what we didn’t eat on the 1st day. There is no meat, only soybeans and fried herring (although no, since they gave grilled chicken, but because of the rush, it did not have time to fry and was raw). From vegetables apples and oranges.
The beach is dirty, but free. Paid only sunbeds / mattresses / umbrellas - $ 3 per set. + you get access to the UPI drinker and water.
The birthday, of course, was a success, but this merit is purely ours and our old friends from Mahmutlar. The hotel had nothing to do with the holiday - and this is also the first time we have encountered this.

The result - the worst vacation abroad of all.
Thank you very much Gold Safran Hotel, tour operator of Coral Travel/Odeon Tours.

PS: The travel agent and tour operator received official complaints from us about the poor quality of travel services, so our "vacation" is not over yet.
