Just arrived from this hotel. We were seduced by a reasonable price and the usual 50/50 ratio of good and bad reviews, although we have considerable experience of holidays abroad. But, as they say, there is a hole in the old woman.
In order. We flew from Kyiv, the TUI operator - departure, arrival, everything is clearly on schedule. The two of us were taken from the airport in a brand new, clean Mercedes Vito and a young guide. Air conditioning, quiet music, good road and 1.5 hours drive we are at the hotel. At the entrance, the location in the mountains and the distance alerted me a little. But we have already rested like this in Marmaris and Bodrum - there the shuttle bass solved all the problems with the distance to the sea. Thought so here too. They settled at 14.00, although they arrived at 10-30. Well, God bless him - order is order. They said there are no rooms, but it was not true - the hotel is large, and there were few people. They drove us to hell in the middle of nowhere - in the 4th building, 63 meters above sea level and 30 meters above the reception level, plus the 5th floor. Number big two-room, the truth a bedroom with a window in a corridor. Everywhere marble - floors, countertops. The furniture, although stylish, is old and shabby. Plumbing and appliances are half-killed or completely collapsed (the shower door was simply leaning - I somehow attached it myself). Hot water - on occasion, Electricity turned off twice for 3-4 hours (then everything stops), the elevator even more often. Of course, we raised questions at the reception, but the Kazakh receptionist Zhanna wrote them down - and forgot to think. But we are not quarrelsome people - we came to rest, let it be as it is. An unfavorable impression was left by a transfer to the sea - a small old pazik-type bus with 25 seats drives as the driver likes. But there are many times more people in the hotel, many with children. Therefore, in the crowded shuttle bass, there was often abuse and abuse. The sea is normal - warm and seemingly clean, but the Aegean will be better. I strained the entrance to the water, the neglect of the beach and a small number of sunbeds. On foot - down is normal, but up in the heat it is stressful - 1.8 km distance and 62 m rise (up to 4 buildings). Food - people were unhappy, but we were not going to make a cult out of food, so we were content with what we had. The beer was not bad, cold and fresh alcohol from vodka and a good Turkish raki (aniseed). You won't get drunk, but you can quench your thirst. Wine - of dubious quality - tried it once - did not like it. The biggest downside is the service. The first cleaning and the only change of linen was done on the 5th day, and then after a reminder. In the dining room, students from Kazakhstan cleaned and served. They really tried - respect to them. Wifi only at reception and very weak. We just went and asked for Wi-Fi at a nearby travel agency, everything worked there, flew. The most vivid impression of the trip is the tour of Side-Amphitheater Aspendos-Waterfall. They took it nearby in a travel agency from Roma (35-40 dollars as you bargain). There was a Turkish guide Selma. A woman in adulthood, conducts excursions for Slavic groups. A rare combination of knowledge, devotion to the profession, intelligence and tact. I have not seen this among our guides. Largely thanks to the guide and her comments, the tour (by the way, on a chic Sprinter) was informative and relaxed (even short trips to retail outlets). All tourists left baksheesh (I have never seen such a thing). And the dinner was better than at the hotel. In general, I recommend the tour, but not the hotel. The hotel, probably, has financial difficulties or managerial impotence and is intended for people from the Soviet Union - mainly Russia, Kazakhstan, a little Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova. There are also a few Turks, but they stop for a couple of days.
