We got to this hotel by accident through the so-called "Fortune" from the tour operator (Coral Travel). The conditions of this promotion do not allow you to choose a hotel yourself, you can only choose the star rating of the hotel - in our case, at least 4 stars were indicated, the price of the tour is correspondingly lower, since it is profitable for the receiving party, in our case (Odeon Tour), to populate those hotels, where there are free places, leaving the right to choose a hotel for yourself.
Now about the miracle of the hotel itself, it turned out to be a "joy" for us 5 stars, but in fact, it's not even 3 or 2 and not one star, and here's why:
1. The hotel is located far enough from the airport in Antalya, travel time is 4-5 hours. The hotel itself is located in a mountainous area very far from the sea and high for walking distance, which creates difficulties not only in going to the beach, but also just ordinary walks around tiring climb (roads at a very high angle of inclination and a large length of these slopes. This is not very easy and turns into a painful quest.
2. This hotel consists of 4 buildings, from 4 to 6 floors high. (Since the terrain is all mountainous, all the corps stand on an inclined plane)
Case number 1 is the main building in which on the ground floor there is a lobby area where sometimes it catches free and VERY slow and intermittent wi-fi internet, a reception desk, a snack bar with an open terrace and a pool area, on the second floor there is a restaurant where breakfasts are served, lunches and dinners. And accordingly, everything else is a room for living. Case number 2 - only rooms for living and in the lowland is another completely small pool with three children's water slides and a small bar. Buildings No. 3 and No. 4 are just rooms for living, these are the most distant and the buildings located at the very top and the path to them is another difficult and painful climb into the mountains.
3. Check-in time at the hotel is 14:00 local time, check-out time is 12:00 local time, but in fact you may not be settled until late in the evening. This is due to the fact that supposedly all the rooms are occupied and you may even be sent to another hotel (this is part of a big scam that is carried out by everyone who checks in), then after a long and painful wait you will be informed that there is one room and it is in the 3-4 building and now you have already been given the keys and you are going uphill to your building and number. Arriving in the room you will feel a strong smell of dampness and mold, you will find absolutely nothing in the room except old furniture and bed linen that do not change attention DO NOT CHANGE FOR at least two weeks.
Cleaning in the room 1-2 times a week, there are no towels in the room, soap, shampoos, etc. , don’t even dream about it. If you are lucky, you will have hot water, a working refrigerator, TV and air conditioning, if not, then go to the reception 15 times a day and no one will repair or do anything to you, they will bring you a TV from another “luxury” room at most, and then without a remote control and will ask for it from 30 to 70 dollars / euros. The first thing you want to do is change the number of this, then they are waiting, they will tell you that they will clarify everything now with the chief and minutes. After 15 you will go to the first building on the second floor to watch the ostentatious number, which you supposedly get by paying from 40-100 dollars, of course not officially. You pay and you are placed in the first building, but in a completely different room, not the one you were shown. But you will be happy with that too. But that's not all.
4. About theft in the rooms: according to the employees, their names are Aziz or Maxim, by the way, they are the ones who carry out all these offers with a long check-in and extortion of money, quote - leave the sewing needle in the room, and when you come it will be gone. They steal everything - money, clothes, phones, chargers, in general, everything they want. They say rent a safe, but they notice that safes are also stolen and there is no guarantee. Security seems to be there, but strange people and stray dogs freely enter and exit the territory. And so on.
Another type of extortion of money by the hotel staff: there is a hammam nearby that gives out towels on a deposit of 10 dollars or euros, when you return the deposit or you can just change the towels if necessary, and on the day of departure, return the towels and collect the deposit, if you lose towels, you will pay a fine $20 for each towel lost. You can be sure two days before departure, these towels will be taken from your room, it’s pointless to figure everything out, they will blame everything on a stupid cleaning lady who has already been fired and no one can find anything.
5. Food and drink. Actually here, too, full of shock and horror. Everything is monotonous and has the same taste, the taste of sour food and it doesn’t matter if it’s pasta or rice, powdered mashed potatoes, vegetable salad or just chopped vegetables. Sauces are unclear from what and all this with the smell of sour already spoiled products.
Drinks what is called juice are the well-known powdered yuppies or zucco. Alcoholic drinks: gin - royal alcohol diluted with water with fragrance, whiskey - the same alcohol with water plus dye, draft beer is difficult to understand what it is at all, wine is similar. You can drink tea, coffee is not desirable. Of the fruits, only watermelon, which is cut and thrown into the sun in dirty trays, all this without gloves and on dirty tables. Crockery and cutlery is not enough, whoever managed that managed. Sweets are semolina porridge with multi-colored dyes.
6. Beach. From the hotel, every hour, a shuttle bus for 10-15 seats without windows and air conditioning, packed to the eyeballs, takes everyone who can fit to the sea, there are sunbeds, few, all broken and not enough for everyone. There are places for sun loungers under the roof, which creates a small shade, but it will not save you from sunburn. On the beach there is something like a bar with tables, tea, coffee and powdered yuppies, soda like cola and sprite (bell) everything always ends quickly. Sometimes some food is brought there.
The beach itself is very dirty, pebbles, the entrance to the sea is large pebbles. The sea is mostly clean with small waves, if the storm is not even strong, then various small debris and dirty foam float near the shore.
7. Shopping. Downstairs, near the entrance to the hotel, there are several shops with bags, textiles and souvenirs. Prices for all small things are 1-2 dollars. You can walk to the bus stop and take bus number 101 to Alanya (20-25 minutes) there are many cafe shops.
8. Entertainment in the hotel. Around the pool, the music yells the same all day long, there are two animators and they come up with something there, but honestly it's all kind of ridiculous and out of place.
I strongly do not recommend purchasing tours to this hotel, you will be very disappointed and upset. I did not choose this hotel, it was assigned to me. But among the guests of the hotel there were those who chose it themselves and they were in complete shock and oppression.
