The tour was bought in Eftalia Village. For the month of August, the price for two adults + a teenager (14 years old) for 9 nights was low = $ 1500. The flight schedule was chosen so that in the end we got a full 10 days of wonderful rest.
It took 2 hours to get from the airport to the hotel (many were brought along the road). At 9:00 they were there. At the Village reception, they immediately put on bracelets and offered to have breakfast. Suitcases were left in the luggage room. We noticed that it was constantly open. Promised to settle after 14.00
The view of the restaurant was not impressive. More like a canteen.
After breakfast, we walked around the territory, looked after the houses and returned to the reception in order to get a room ahead of schedule.
A group of Germans were spotted near the reception desk, who were being persuaded to move to the nearby Ocean. Overhearing the conversation, we decided to move to the neighbors, but a little closer, to Marin.

At the reception, the Russian language is poorly understood. My son's excellent knowledge of English came in handy. After negotiations, we came to a consensus - for $ 100 we move to Marin.
We were instantly taken to a new hotel and settled just as quickly. True, before that, a short conversation took place in English with a representative of Marin, and for a small fee we were placed in a chic end one-room suite with a sea view.
The territory of the Marin hotel is combined with the territory of the Ocean, but only the pools and slides can be used. Food is prohibited.
During the day, free sunbeds near the pools of hotels were not easy to find. Must be booked before 9:00. We were surprised by the Germans, who got up at 6 am and immediately occupied half of the sunbeds near the main Marin pool. The sea didn't seem to be of much interest to them. But on the beach of the Island there were always enough sunbeds, both on the shore and near the pools.
Eftalia Island is an amazing place. Unites vacationers of all hotels of the Eftalia chain. There are many places, everyone is happy, fed and happy. The coastal strip stretches up to 1 km. But the entrance to the sea and the bottom itself is not uniform. The cleanest place is opposite the end of the water park (boomerang and carousel slides). In other places, you can stumble upon huge stones under water, which will not please you when the water is opaque and there are waves.
Slides are open from 10.00 to 17.00 (with a break from 12.00 to 13.30). But the popular slide Carousel did not work after the break. The reason is unknown to me.
Slides on the territory of hotels are a great alternative to beach ones. Especially for children and Germans : )
Underpasses to the Island are different in their comfort. Used three. The most spacious, cleanest and highest of the Ocean. From the Village hotel is the lowest, cramped and smelly.
The main restaurant Marin pleased with its design and cleanliness. The lines were mostly for dinner. Good places in the closed hall (it was well cooled by air conditioners) had to be taken immediately upon opening (at 19.00). The food, as for us, was varied and edible.

There was one complaint about public catering - reusable plastic glasses - of a nondescript appearance and it is not clear how well they were washed out.
The room we got was excellent. Big, bright, clean. Everything worked great. For tips ($ 1 per day), towels and bedding were changed according to the schedule, shampoos, toilet paper, water, cola and fanta were added. A huge balcony with a wonderful view of the territory and the sea was pleased with the presence of armchairs, a table and two sun loungers.
The hotel mainly rested Germans, Turks, Ukrainians and Russians. Germans and Turks smoked a lot in public places (the culture is below the plinth). Vacationing local Turks resembled gypsies in the worst sense of the word. Pick up other people's towels, umbrella, deck chair, push a woman out of the shower - in the order of things.
There are no complaints about the service personnel, everything is at a high level.
I can not ignore the host company Odeon. We had a meeting with her representative at the Village Hotel. This "happiness" is called Artyom. Meeting with him and spending the mandatory time was the very fly in the ointment in a barrel of excellent rest. He does not trust vacationers. Fully! Requires the presence of all family members, regardless of age. He witnessed how he forced small children to be brought into his room to make sure they were present. He reacted sharply to the refusal to purchase excursions. Nervous, mentally ill person. As a result, he gave incorrect information to all those who moved to other hotels that they would only be picked up from the Village Hotel. It was a lie! A very incompetent employee.
Having sorted out the return transfer on our own, we left the Marin Hotel on a comfortable bus with a great mood.
