The hotel is dirty, rubbish everywhere, old trash cans are with cigarette butts, dust on the doors and windows. No one washes the stained-glass windows, they are stained with fingerprints in the sun. The children's area is not open. Slides: the coating on the slides peeled off, the swimsuit was torn, the child tore his thighs to the blood. The handrails for descending into the pool stagger, very flimsy. The ceiling collapsed in the right wing of the building on the ground floor. The plumbing in the bathroom is broken, sewerage pulls from the washbasin. Cleaning every 4 days, symbolic - take out the trash. Shampoo and soap requested. The air conditioner is regulated by the employees themselves, during the day it almost does not pull, no matter how you turn the regulator on the wall. TV - only a couple of Russian channels.
On the beach, sun loungers cannot be pulled closer to the sea; you sit on towels if you need to watch the bathing children. A young couple left things on the trestle bed, went for a swim, on their return they did not find 2 mobile phones, they saw how the beach employee was adjusting their trestle bed. The police came, the guys on the trail. day left this hotel. Personally, I lost my sunglasses and another woman. There is no alcohol, and you don’t feel like drinking here, the atmosphere is depressingly dull so much that you want to run away from there or not leave the room at all. Mineral water is poured into plastic cups, they won't give you a bottle - the owner swears. They took 4 cups and poured them into a bottle to somehow save themselves from heartburn. From food there was heartburn on the third day. Evening chicken will certainly appear in morning salads with mayonnaise. More or less fed when the Turkish delegation arrived. And even the bar worked while the Turks played dice and sat near the bar.
The toilets are dirty throughout the territory, the toilets are all in the city, without exaggeration, there is no paper, there is water on the floor. Absolutely nothing pleased. Before dinner, we didn’t turn on the lights around the hotel, we always walked along the dark corridors, the children were scared, it felt like you were in an abandoned castle. It was terrifying to meet someone than to go by yourself. Savings and disrespectful attitude of staff and owners to guests in everything.
In order to somehow entertain themselves, in the evening they wandered along the beach, looked at the discos of neighboring hotels. Reception: boors, will not help you with any question, the Internet does not work even for money. The guide never saw, got through the third time. On the request to change the hotel received the answer: I have already given the information to someone from your hotel, go and ask. To change a room with a view of the sea and the pools - an additional charge of $ 50. The phrase does not work here: as you set yourself up, so be it. No matter how hard we tried, we failed.
Vacation ruined. This is actually a DONE HOTEL! You can go if your ticket is from the factory and costs 10% of the cost, and then... Take money with you so that you can go to Alanya in the afternoon or on excursions. Konakli is a village, outside the hotel you can only walk around the market and a small park nearby, it takes 7-10 minutes to drive to Alanya. There were mosquitoes. By the way, in Alanya itself there is another hotel of this Grand Bayar chain - 4 *. So, it's better to choose it than this abandoned place. It is very strange that it is not in the tops of the worst hotels in Alanya. The tour cost us $1200 for 8 nights. For that kind of money, you can easily find a good hotel in Alanya itself, there are a lot of them!
They put us in a room with a beautiful view of the sea and pools, without a tip!
The room is excellent, large, the beds are comfortable, the mattresses are soft, the marble table-sink, all the snow-white linen, although it didn’t change every day, but it didn’t upset us at all! We did not even turn on the TV, it was not up to it. The air conditioner worked very well.
Beach towels were changed every 4 days in the spa (by the way, many praised it very much, but we did not use it). There was also a free sauna. But spa services are at an additional cost.
We wanted to say separately about food: a chic buffet. There is a lot of food, everything is delicious. Every day beef, chicken, fish. Moreover, for our entire holiday, hot dishes were practically not repeated. Several types of cakes, pastries, constantly watermelons, melons, apples, oranges, tomatoes, cucumbers, a bunch of salads, buns, a million gravies and sauces, incomparable boats (pitas) that were cooked right in front of you in the oven (I wanted to clarify that the filling was not repeated: sometimes with cottage cheese, sometimes with minced meat, sometimes with sausage, sometimes with vegetables), french fries, soups, cereals.
For drinking there are drinks Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, juices, several varieties of delicious coffee, hot chocolate. You definitely won't leave hungry. In addition, from morning to evening, a snack bar, where nuggets, hamburgers, flatbreads (gozleme) were prepared, was rolled out and fried by a woman right in front of you.
At 16-00 ice cream is distributed, 1-2 in hand.
Yes, sometimes there are long queues, but they pass quickly. There were not always enough tables in the large hall of the closed restaurant. But on the street and in the back room you will always find a free table. And the waiters did an excellent job. Before you have time to put an empty plate, they run to take it away. Tables are quickly washed for the next guests, and the number of tables grew every day.
There are no alcoholic drinks at all (the hotel is declared soft all), and this was discussed with us by the tour operator. But we didn't need it. Those who did not have enough, then at the market near the hotel they bought strong drinks for themselves.
The pools are great, huge, look live just like in the photo. The beach is huge, across a beautiful green garden 50 meters from the hotel. There were often not enough beds. The fact that many people take a few sun loungers by the pool and go to the sea is not the problem of the hotel, but of ourselves. We need to change. The entrance to the sea is rocky, or rather stone slabs, but you can enter through the crevices along the pebbles (preferably in corals), then there is only one pebble and sand. Yes, and on both sides there are piers, near which there is a beautiful pebble entry into the sea, freed from plates.
For children, it's just a paradise: 3 children's pools, very decent slides from large to small. The slides scratched our back a little, but we bought circles and planks and rode with pleasure.
The animation is not intrusive, there were games in the morning and after dinner in darts, bocce, there was morning gymnastics, aqua aerobics, belly dancing, even at the end of our vacation they began to hold water polo competitions. There were no evening shows as such, competitions were held for Miss and Mr. Hotel, karaoke, etc. Children's mini-disco every day.
Here with the Internet is not good, I caught free only at night and at the reception, the paid one hung. But we solved this problem - we bought a 20GB SIM card for $25. For 2 weeks of use, only 8GB were used up. Caught everywhere. We downloaded a guide in Russian and traveled around Alanya, Konakli, Antalya.
Near the hotel there is a market, everything you need, as well as hotels and souvenirs can be bought there.
If the requirements are too high, then you are not in this hotel.
And we were satisfied with the rest. Everything suited us, for such money the first coastline with a gentle sea, excellent pools and food.
We arrived at the hotel at 8 in the morning, we were met and offered to go to have breakfast, since we just got to it. Entering the dining room, we were a little dumbfounded by the number of people and the queues, it's just awful, for water in general. There is a lot of food, if something ended, it was brought within 2-5 minutes. The dining room staff simply could not physically accept such a number of people, they did not have time to pour those drinks, clean up after people who had already left.
After breakfast, we returned to the reception desk with the hope that they would accommodate us, since we have 2 children, 5 and 12 years old, especially from a night flight. But no, they said there are no rooms, although it is clear that the keys to the rooms are hanging, we changed clothes and went to the pool. The pool is a different story, there are no free sunbeds, as many people insolently take places with towels, go to the sea or in the rooms, and you stand and can’t lie down anywhere. The pool is dirty, often someone’s black hair remained on their hands and the bottom was all in pebbles and sand, cups floated, for the entire period of rest I never saw it cleaned, although they poured pretty much bleach on it, which is already too much. What is most interesting - in the pool you could swim until 22:00. Slides are great, they worked from 11-16
Numberrrrr. We were settled with a scandal at 13:45, on the 3rd floor, the windows overlooked the courtyard. The room was cleaned more or less, the TV did not work, because there was no antenna, we installed it already on the 5th day. The towel warmer in the bathroom is broken. Cleaning is disgusting, every 2-3 days, and then she took out the garbage in the toilet, and left it under the table in the trash can, I already cleaned it on the balcony myself, since she apparently didn’t want to wipe the table.
The sea is nearby, the beach is wide, but the entry into the sea is not very convenient, large stones, and in the presence of constant waves, you fall and clog. The entrance in only one place was normal, and there are naturally a lot of people.
Yes, the hotel is WITHOUT alcohol, which is not indicated on the website. It is clear that when you come to rest you sometimes want to drink wine or beer, but you don’t have it, and you don’t really want to go shopping all the time.
On August 2, sitting on the balcony in the evening, constant ambulances were watching that they were taking people with poisoning from the hotel. Our eldest son also got poisoned on 01.08 (it's good that I had a large first-aid kit with various drugs with me), which saved us.
Beach towels were changed every 4 days.
So I will definitely not advise this hotel to anyone, and I also told my tour operator not to advise anyone.
Meat (namely meat, not soy) - lamb, veal, beef, lamb..... pork, for obvious reasons, was not... Every day they gave ice cream, different types... such a yummy . .
The hotel area is large, 5 swimming pools; 5 slides... there is expanse for the kids...
There is a park with benches and beautiful lanterns. . . only the hotel is new and the greenery has not grown yet....
One minus in this hotel, the entrance to the sea is huge boulders. They said that this winter they will fix it..... That's why I put the hotel 4, only for this !!!
There are two piers, here at the right one, 20 meters, the entrance is excellent, we discovered it on the last day.
There are few Russians in the hotel, more Turks, Czechs, Poles, Germans. All family, there are a lot of children, but since the hotel is big, it didn’t bother, there was enough space for everyone... both on sunbeds by the pool and on the sea.
Animation..... light, it is almost invisible. But they are fixing that too. After many wrote that the animation could be more fun, they took 2 more girls as children's animation. Animator Joker( speaks Russian)... tries very hard.
This is a family hotel, young people will be bored here. . .
So do not be afraid of anything, all have a good and positive holiday!! !
1. The hotel is new and the food is normal - that's just, perhaps, the only pluses of this hotel. But the food is not varied.
2. At the reception, and indeed in the hotel, few people speak English, which is unacceptable for a hotel.
3. Stinks of sewage throughout the hotel.
4. Few Europeans rest in this hotel, one Turks and Russians.
5. No animation for adults. And yes, it doesn't exist at all.
6. There is no bar on the beach. You always have to go to the pool.
7. No ashtrays in the room.
8. Elevators do not work periodically.
9. The location of the hotel is inconvenient, as it takes about 12 km to get to Alanya.
And in general, this hotel is for pensioners, not for young people. Boring.
Guys, have a good trip, but not to this hotel.
Coming to Alanya for the first time, be prepared for the fact that the road from the airport to the hotel can take 2-3 hours, or even more. Our children were simply exhausted, since the flight was at night and upon arrival everyone was "boiled". Particularly infuriated half-hour stop near the shops.
We got to the hotel around 10 am. Check-in at 2 o'clock, not at 12, as stated. At the reception, almost no one speaks Russian. There was one boy, but not always. The reception desk was taken by storm, and although they put 20 bucks in the passport beforehand, they stood in line like everyone else, though they gave a normal number. The work of the girls at the reception goes in this mode - people came up, asked something from her, she nodded, walked away... Others come up, she switches to them, completely forgetting about the first ones who came up. You have to constantly push and remind yourself. Passports are piled up in a huge pile right next to the photocopier and you can easily reach them through the counter, especially since the female employees often leave for a long time somewhere.
We were looking for the room ourselves. We carried our suitcases to our room. The room is, to be fair, clean, with working equipment, crisp white linen, LCD TV and a stunning view, just like the pictures on the site. Of the minuses - very low railings on the balcony - the child was not allowed to go there. cleaned every day, but the girls who clean - neither in Russian nor in English do not understand. We asked for a week to give us a shower gel - he smiles nods and... does not, although the dollar takes away all the time). We had a safe in the room, we paid $30 for it for 10 days. Many rooms don't have safes.
Having hastily laid out things, we naturally rushed to the pools. They are really big and very clean. There are umbrellas and sun loungers around. And not a single free... There is nowhere to sit. None of the pools... Here and now it's 9 in the morning, and everything is busy from 6-7 in the morning. Out of desperation, I had to get up every day at 6 am and go to take sunbeds. Moreover, there is no certainty that your things will not be thrown off, and the sunbed and umbrella will not be taken away. We've been in this situation a couple of times. Moreover, both times our offenders were the Turks, who are resting in this hotel a large number.
Well, the most interesting and exciting activity in this hotel is dinner! Seeing this for the first time, we were simply stunned. Imagine a crowd besieging the entrance to a restaurant. At the appointed time, the doors open and this whole crowd runs at full speed to the food, to the tables, forks, plates are dropped along the way, food is poured onto the floor. Speaking of food. They cook a lot and tasty, quite varied. For breakfast, a lot of buns, cheeses, sausage, boiled and fried eggs, pancakes (didn't like it). Their coffee is just amazing. For lunch, vegetables, rice, pasta, french fries, several types of meat (mostly lamb and chicken) Often fish - I highly recommend. Of the sweets, there are many types of puddings, jelly, some cakes and cookies, which our children called wet and refused to eat. And wet - because they literally swim in syrup, oil and honey. Here the taste and color... From the fruits there were always watermelons, melons, apples, royal bananas (where would they be without them in Alanya), nectarines, plums, apricots. Strawberries were seen a couple of times - they saw them - they were swept away by the children who were the first to run into the restaurant. There were about 50 vases there)) It would be better if they didn’t give it at all. By the way, there are a few more comments on the work of the restaurant - since they have bad air conditioning there (in the lobby, corridors and elevators they did not work even once in 10 days, and in the restaurant only in the evenings), we took places in the air. So, in the evenings they are not allowed to open umbrellas over the tables, although the sun is still very hot. Sometimes it reached the point of absurdity - the tourist opened the umbrella over the table himself, and the waiter came up and closed it, the tourist argued that his and his family's shoulders were burned in the sun, that it was hot to sit, and the waiter calmly rolled the umbrella to the side. They have big problems with umbrellas and shade there - I'm sitting near the large pool right now - I counted 30 umbrellas around the perimeter. And the hotel has over 600 rooms, according to their website. Here, count for yourself. It's these minor flaws that spoil the feeling of relaxation. There were many dissatisfied. In elevators, in restaurants, on the beach, people expressed their complaints about the hotel, saying that they had never seen anything like it.
Okay, now for the good stuff. The hotel has a good spa. Sauna, hammam, indoor pool, they do a lot of procedures - masks, massage, peeling, everything is very high quality. The gym is very well equipped. The territory of the hotel is very beautiful and clean, there is a mini club for children, where they really do. A separate word about the animators - well done. They really work conscientiously, amuse the people, stir up even the most motionless. The hotel has three slides and a wave pool. All this works at a certain time. The beach is large enough, although not particularly clean. That's where there are a lot of sunbeds!
In general, the conclusion is - I will not go there again. There is no feeling of rest, relaxation here - you have to fight for sunbeds, umbrellas, for food. I never saw the famous Turkish hospitality. Staff unsmiling, sometimes rude. If it weren't for the tours, we'd just have howled there. And one more thing - you have to go where there are fewer Russians, and here the hotel consists of 80-90% of ours. If you have any questions - ask - I will answer, while impressions are fresh.
The hotel is new, so everything is brand new! everything seems to have been done yesterday, everything glitters and shimmers.
The room is fantastic, marble table-sink, all snow-white linen changed each! day, however, always leave a tip of 3 dollars was my rule.
The pools are excellent, they look live just like in the photo. The beach is huge, through a beautiful green garden 50 meters from the hotel, equipped with beautiful sail-shaped awnings. Sun loungers with new mattresses, unlike neighboring hotels. The entrance to the sea is a little rocky, or rather a stone slab, but if you enter through the crevices along the sand and reach the level of the belt, then there is only one sand.
It's just a paradise for children: 3 children's pools, very decent slides from large to small, and in general, there are a lot of children, there is someone to play with, especially since most of them are Russian.
In a word, an excellent hotel for a family holiday, and for those who do not like a lot of noise, but appreciate comfort and food. Moreover, the hotel is new, and apparently, in order to win over the clientele, the prices here are still lower than those of equivalent competitors (take Arycanda for example)
