We rested in Turkey for the first time (08/20/2008), before that we were in Egypt. The Mediterranean Sea is dead compared to the Red Sea, no living creatures... but clean (and there are good waves - this is +). On the day of arrival, and we arrived somewhere at 11.00, we had to sit and wait for the room (check-in at hotels is at 14.00), since the hotel is packed to capacity during the season and there are simply no rooms available. At the reception they gave $ 30 and said "a sea view" (sea view). After 2 hours we were given a room with a sea view on the 4th floor. For these 2 hours we were sitting in the hall with a terrible stuffiness (for some reason, the air conditioners are not turned on there). Settled in the room and went to inspect the area. The territory is quite green, but small..... we don’t need a particularly large one. The sea is nearby, the beach is sandy and pebbly (pebbles when entering the water). There is a pool (it is cleaned every day, so the muck doesn’t swim in it), there is also another pool with slides (the slides are not impressive), but who needs extreme sports can go to the water park. And of course there is a very tiny pool, respectively, for very tiny ones - kids.
Food....as usual, one of the most exciting issues. I don’t have much to compare the kitchen with, except for Egypt, but the food was good, but monotonous. More or less varied cuisine was only for dinner (fried fish, chicken barbecue, and so on. ). With desserts, in general, one huge "-", again, compared to Egypt, the choice is very meager and everything tastes the same. Gourmets, of course, have nothing to do in this hotel.
Number. Cleaned every day, well, for a tip - $ 1, of course. The room is very good, in principle, everything as the hotel states in the proposal: a bath (shower), a hairdryer, a TV with 2 Russian channels (ORT and RBC), air conditioning (by the end of the holiday we caught a cold from it, and we are not alone) And so on. . .

Staff. Well, it seems that no one scolded or slandered, but you still feel some kind of snobbery towards Russians and scorn. Well, whoever came to rest will not pay attention to this, maybe you "do not baptize children" with them.
There is one more "-" - this is the distance from the city, so you don’t really go shopping, and the prices in the resort area "bite". Yes, and it’s a bit far to get on excursions, we went on 2 excursions: Pamukkale (a museum city and a balneological resort at the site of travertine formation) and Rafting (rafting on a mountain river 14 km long on rafts or catamarans). In general, we got 6 hours to Pomukkale, and 2 hours to rafting, and this is just the way there.
In general, summing up, we had a good rest, since it was for the rest that we came. "Price - quality" corresponds, as we got vouchers on a special basis. suggestion : -)
