Hi all!
Rested with his wife and child (3.5 years) in Arantzia from 25.05 to 03.06.
We went to Tutsia for the second time. I really liked the first one (Vikingen Resort & Spa 5*, September 2009, Karja)
I tried to convince you that they don’t look for good from good, but... I wanted to try something else + Viking has little territory for children to play + $ 400 more expensive.
The wife chose the hotel for a long time.
I confess honestly - they chose a child for rest.
We read the reviews... A lot of bad ones. The wife asks - did you write a review about the previous hotel? No, I didn't write. So they thought that people don’t write about good things, but write about bad things. On that they agreed.
I paid $1500 for a ticket for 3 people. Anex Tour.
I. Day one.
1. We arrived at the hotel - for $ 20 they gave a room with a sea view + 2 keys (cards). It all started - just super! : )

2. In the morning we went to have breakfast. The first shock - for a fried egg queue for 10 minutes. Finding a free table is impossible. They searched, they searched, they found. Waited 5 minutes to be removed. The waiters are non-speaking (because they do not know either Russian or English). I had to express myself in moments. I can’t say anything bad about their eagerness to fulfill wishes. But how can you do something if you don't understand the client? One day he tried to get us a table at 8pm. . . ended up bringing 8 glasses of red wine : )
3. Let's go further: the beach on the first day - one disappointment - the search for a fairway in order to enter and exit the sea. Without special shoes to go without scratching is unrealistic. About the fact that there at the entrance the boulders are 1 meter long - an inflection, they are a little further into the sea. If you look carefully, you can see where the stones are and you can just not go there. Regarding the fact that you can kill yourself there, this is real. But for this you need to be either drunk or dumb as a felter in order to climb stones in a storm or very unlucky. There really is a place where at a distance of 15 meters from the entrance to the sea there is a rocky ridge, where the peasants are waist-deep. If you find yourself in this place during a storm, it can really VERY specifically smack on the stones.
Sunbeds both on the beach and near the pools really need to be taken until 7.30, if you don’t have time - in flight. You will either wait and look for someone to leave, or (sometimes it happened) stupidly transfer someone's things to a nearby sunbed. But for this you can get : )
4. Towels received leaving a deposit of $10. Their replacement is 2 or 3 bucks. But it's better to take your own, because the sun loungers should be the same! and recognize your towel; )
5. Dinner - got drunk with the whole family : )). We came a little earlier (I then foolishly went without a watch - rest all the same). Near the entrance to the canteen - crush. 25-30 people are waiting to be launched first. We remembered Soviet times - the queue for sausage : )

When they opened the door, they understood why. Everyone rushed to take tables and stand in line for food. If you do not have time to be the first in line, you will stand in it for at least 5 minutes for the first course. Separate line - for french fries. But the longest queue is for the watermelon. You could stay there for more than 15 minutes. Watermelon is beautifully cleaned right in front of you. But! when you stand in line - it's so annoying!
I immediately remembered a review where a person wrote that you first need to get food in order to try to eat it later (if you find a table).
As a hunter, I got food for the family in 40 minutes, the table was occupied immediately.
The chefs cook really delicious food.
: (The watermelon turned out to be the kind that I would not have eaten in Ukraine.
6. After dinner - in the room. The room is awesome! Everything worked (except the hood in the bathroom). TV - not LSD, but I did not come to watch TV in Turkey; )
There is really no soundproofing between rooms. But this is not scary, because the music plays so loudly both day and night (until 3.00) - that you will not hear what the neighbors are doing.
But, that's why we are people - we quickly adapt to any conditions. Our child slept peacefully and did not react to this music. Wine helped me and my wife : ).
7. Dinner - no longer funny - again a crowd of people, jumping into the canteen, taking a queue... Complete lack of fruit! Apples and green plums - nothing - I don’t eat that at home! The queue for watermelon is even longer!
8. Let's go to the mini disco. The kid was looking forward to this.
We arrive at the amphitheater - it turns out that it is the only one for 2 hotels. There are no ottomans or anything else to sit on. Where to get - unknown. The first day they sat on napkins.
As it turned out, there were so many children that they barely fit on the stage. But everyone is having fun. Parents, however, are hard to see where their child is. It seemed to me that the girls-animators were few for so many children. But the parents were there : ).
9. Show. On the first day there was a parody of the show. I was a little shocked, because the student KVN was head and shoulders above such a show. They remembered the Vikingen show. . . My wife broke down and burst into tears. And I felt somehow offended - why did you pay off the money?

10. Return to the room. I turn on the air conditioner - it is one (common) for the entire hotel. And it turns on only at around 26 degrees. And it doesn't blow cold. Just warm air blowing and that's it!
I had to open the door to the balcony. But then another problem - loud music from 2 hotels puts a little pressure on the head. There would be one disco - no problem - I would fall asleep to the music. But two is a welter of 2 DJs fighting at full power.
But the first day - everyone was tired and by two in the morning I fell asleep.
II. Second day.
Okay joked.
I will try to briefly describe the situation in the following days.
Everything just got better because the first day was the worst.
Vacationers:
70% - with children (50% of them - mother, grandmother children)
25% - young couples, young people
5% - older people
Of them:
70% - Russians
20% - Ukrainians
10% - Turks, Germans, Kazakhs, Belarusians.
The grounds are really big and well maintained (solid 5).
Children have a place to play. Children's slide in the pool - salvation for parents. You can sunbathe nearby while the child frolic on the hill with other kids.
There are enough swings. Children's animators are. So that they themselves would invite children to play somehow - it was not noticed.
But if necessary, there is a place to leave older children.
There is enough territory for young couples to take a walk.
The beach is sandy (hard 4). It cannot be said that it has not been cleaned, but it cannot be called clean either. Indeed, there are some branches. But I did not observe glass and other things about which one could get hurt.
Entry into the sea - with stones (put 1). You can actually get hurt about them. Which I did more than once.
Through the efforts of the parents on the second day, a fairway 2-3 meters wide was made - the stones were removed - it was possible to safely enter the sea.
After a small storm, the situation with stones worsened again. On the 7th day, the administration removed almost all the stones. Neatly folded them on the beach : ). What will happen after the storm - I do not know.

*Recommendation: be sure to take special shoes for yourself and children. If you didn’t take it with you, there is a street of merchants next to the hotel (to the right of the exit). There for $10 you can buy such shoes.
Food (put 3).
For breakfast: a lot of buns, vegetables (mainly tomatoes, cucumbers), eggs (boiled and fried), soy products (like sliced u200bu200bmeat: )), sometimes watermelon. By the way - I never tried a fried egg in Arantia because I decided that I was not ready to spend 15 minutes of rest on an egg : )
For lovers of all kinds of cereals - there was something poured in jars - people collected and poured milk (cold).
For lunch: rice, potatoes (+ french fries), chicken, beef (sometimes together), soups, vegetables, sweets. There have always been apples and green plums (just don't think that they are not ripe - this is probably the variety). Once again, watermelon. Red and tasty - 25%. Sometimes they gave melon.
1 time they gave strawberries, oranges, twice - cherries, three times - apricots. But to be honest, the oranges were crushed in less than 2 minutes and they didn’t bring any more, the same story with cherries.
To the right of the exit from the dining room there is a grill - they cook fish, sometimes a turkey. At the exit - grilled apples and sometimes - lamb or grilled cutlets.
Friday - Turkish night. They made cakes, cooked a lot of meat on the grill (really enough for everyone), a lot of fruit (again - enough for everyone).
Dinner: rice, potatoes (+ french fries), chicken, beef (sometimes together), vegetables, sweets.
Tea, coffee - is in the machines and separately.
Tried to drink both one and the other - complete crap.
The only place where you can drink normal tea is a girl on the ground floor who prepares aromatic tea (for free), you can also drink normal coffee there (but for a fee).
There are no juices. None. Neither paid nor free.
In the devices - "Jupi" is real. Dye + sugar. Chokomilk (cocoa) - 50% came across poor quality.
The bars have cola, pepsi, sprite, fanta local spill. To do this, just look at your tongue after using them - dyes.
From free booze - local vodka and gin.
They don't make cocktails.

They say it's free and they don't offer anything.
I won’t write much about alcohol - I tried it once - I didn’t like it, but I won’t invent it.
The chefs cook delicious food. Really.
But everything is spoiled by the zhlobstvo of the owner of the hotel.
For the first time I saw that, right in front of the rest, yesterday's french fries were thrown into the deep fryer again! He was shocked and stopped eating it.
Not all tables are covered in the morning - hence the queues.
The dining room is not designed for such a number of vacationers.
You need to sign up for the a la corte restaurant not 2 days in advance (as we were told), but 5 days in advance. We, accordingly, did not get there.
Compared to neighboring hotels - there are practically no fruits, halva was also not given. There is no ice cream.
*Recommendations:
- arrive either 5 minutes before opening or 1 hour later.
But if in an hour - you will sit at a dirty table;
- be sure to wipe the appliances - no one cleans them normally;
- fruits can be bought near the hotel (there is a street to the right of the exit - there are several merchants). Strawberries 2 USD / kg, sweet cherry, peach 3 USD / kg. Even closer - corn, ice cream, orange juice (squeezed in front of you) - all for 1 dollar.
- book a place in the restaurant on the first day - otherwise you simply won't be able to get there.
- do not waste time arguing with the waiters and the manager - they either do not know, or pretend that they do not understand either Russian or English.
- real coffee can be tasted in shops nearby - if you buy something there, you will be treated to it. Very nice and tasty.
Animation (put 3+)
The animators really did their best. There were days when they just shone. But, remembering the first day - the hand does not rise to put more.
I got the impression that the closer we hit until the moment of departure, the better they worked.

If in the first days during the day we practically did not hear about them, then at the end - they were really active throughout the day - there were games, and invitations to mini-disco and shows. One day they even put chairs and ottomans in the amphitheater! Before that, however, we heard how they cursed in Turkish for 5 minutes : ))
*Recommendation: if you want to sit and look after the child and see the show - come 10 minutes before the start, take the chairs and put them where you feel comfortable to sit.
Service (confidently put 0).
I don’t go into minuses just because of the reception and the smiles of the waiters.
They really tried.
But they are not professional waiters. I got the impression that these are students who decided to earn extra money.
One bartender said that he is a football player, but here he only earns money.
Cleaning was done, the swans were spinning (left all the time 1 dollar).
But for all the time, they never vacuumed it.
They took their own shampoo (read reviews), so they didn’t pay attention to the fact that they really give it only 1 time.
Cleaners at lunchtime like to stand in the hallway and talk about life. I had to ask them to keep quiet : ).
And if the general impression is that the owner is a specific goon. He is betting that there will still be parents who, despite any reviews, will choose his hotel because of the territory.
As for the positive reviews about Arantia, it seems to me that they can be left by people who are in Turkey for the first time (after the Crimea - Arantia is really a paradise) or those who traveled in a company.
P. S. everything that he wrote was compared not with the Crimea, but with the hotel in which he was last year. I hope that I really described the situation. If you have any questions - write - I will try to answer.
